WAITING (Impatiently) for my DVDs--AARGH!

I ordered the INTENSITY DVDs the first or second day they were put on sale, and up to now, I've been pretty patient. I never considered buying any of the workouts on video to "tide me over" (One reason being that I only wanted the quality and features that DVD can give me, and didn't want to "spoil" the workouts by first seeing them on video). I also encouraged others to be patient and give SNM time to get the job done and get it done perfectly.

Well, ever since I saw that my DVDs are due TODAY, I've been much more impatient. And when I thought that it looked like the shipment might even end up being a day late (they were still in Chicago late yesterday afternoon, and I didn't know if UPS trucks roll all night to deliver to my local office), they possible day delay seemed SO LONG!

Luckily, when I checked the progres of my order this morning, I found that my DVDs had left the local distribution center at 6:30 this morning. YIPPEE!!

BUt, guess what? It looks like I'm the last delivery of the day (which I sometimes seem to be). Though I sometimes get packages earlier in the day (10-ish), I often get them around 5 or even later.

I guess I could assure their early arrival by starting to do something that the delivery would interrupt, like take a warm bath (that would surely bring the UPS truck to my door about 30-seconds after I settled down into the inviting water).

Now, I know there are posters here who have been champing at the bit to get these DVDs for a LONG TIME, but anybody else there just "recently impatient" like me?

[I am babbling, now. Helps to pass the time...where IS the UPS truck? Do I hear it? No....I just imagined it. Did the cats hear something? Like the truck coming down the street? No...probably just a bird. AARGH!!]

recently impatient...yep that is me too!
Seeing that some guys have their dvds that live on the east coast, makes me soooo antsy for their arrival!!
The last time I ordered something, the UPS station about 2 hrs away from me LEFT MY VIDEOS there!!!! I was like NOOOOOOO! They were supposed to come on a Saturday, but were delayed b/c they were left at that area, so they didn't come till a tuesday!! Talk about having to withstand patience!! So I hope I got the bad karma out of the way!

At least yours are coming today!!!

I have been very impatiently waiting too. I got my DVD's yesterday. I knew that I was getting sick. I did manage to do C&W going low impact and only using 8# dumbbells last night. Today, I have the worst cold that I can remember in years. Just breathing is a huge effort! My heart and spirit are down in the playroom with my weighs and those new DVD's by my body can not do it. I'm still waiting. I hope you have better luck when you get your DVD's.

Well, I obviously WAS the last delivery of the dayx(

Since last post, I did a 30=minute workout, took a shower (nope, they didn't come then), and turned on the oven to preheat for a pizza.

I JUST got my DVDs, and look what time it is---6:26 my time! I think the UPS driver must have tried them out before he delivered them!

If Judge Judy were a Cathe fan, I'd be sure to win a "pain and suffering" suit against the driver!

Well, I'm off to preview. (While eating Amy's cheeseless pizza!:7 :9

I am glad that I'm not the only one waiting. I have to wait until Monday to get mine. I have been patient so far, but now it is really getting hard. Especially since I have read the review of the Viper.

Hang in there you guys, they are on the way.

I know patience is tough! I'm waiting for a job - and at times it is SOOO frustrating. You are SOOO lucky to be getting these DVDs. When I get a job this is the big gift I'm buying myslef.

You guys are very patient!! I had to pay extra for overnight delivery. I normally don't do that, but with this I did! I couldn't help it!

I got them on Tuesday and wouldn't you know it...I got sick! I still haven't been able to start them. 4 days with no working out!! Ugh!
But tonight for sure, I'm going to get started. I'm not 100% better, but I think well enough to finally maybe get started!

I received my Dvd's Weds. night. I had surgery on my foot Thurs. morning. Can you believe it??? I only have to be off my foot for 2 weeks. I can do the Pyramids, so Monday I am going to start those. I just can not do any high impact. Dr. said by Monday I should be ok to do weight training. I bought one of those Leslie Sansone Walk Tapes yesterday to do for my cardio since I am sure they are lower impact. I can not wait to do Boot Camp!!!

I previewed all 6 workouts (haven't viewed the terminator DVD yet). I'm hoping my initial somewhat unmotivated reaction to IMAX2 and Cardio and Weights is just because I was tired. I was sitting and watching and noticed that I had a scowl on my face. Not because of the workouts themselves, but because I don't like the music! At least, not most of it (though I like the dancy version of the Piña colada song (which I thought I'd hate) a lot...except when the refrain comes on and THE DUDE MISPRONOUNCES PIÑA! He says piNa! )

It's good: lots of sweet roasted onions, and the crust is tasty. I jazzed it up last night by adding some garlic/marinated mushrooms, black olives, and more roasted red pepper. Quite tasty!

I got rearended on Tuesday morning, although it was not a hard hit,it was enough to make my neck hurt for a few days. Hopefully by Monday I will be pain free, and able to work out. I have not worked out since Monday because of the pain in my neckx(

piNa Colada

I LOVE the music in CW and Imax2!! But it does drive me nuts that he pronounces Pina incorrectly. I thought I was just obsessing!
I was excited Wednesday to get my DVD's, and looked out the side windows next to my door to the corner of my front stoop where the UPS guy always puts our deliveries. No luck! I couldn't believe it--I paid for 2 day delivery, so they should definietly have been there. I worried briefly that they had the wrong address, since I had moved to a new house in October, but I had emailed SNM before the move to change the address on my order, so I knew that was ok. I fumed for 2 hours, cooked dinner, and sat on the couch in depression. I kept looking out that side window, thinking the reflection through the glass might be making me miss something. Finally, 3 hours after I got home from work, I decided to actually OPEN THE DOOR to see if UPS had left a note at least. Naturally, there was the box, waiting patiently for me! THank God I opened the door!! Why he didn't put it in the usual corner I will never know, but from now on I will always check in front of the door, too!

I am absolutely loving these DVDs! They are amazing.

I don't understand why your DVDs are taking so long. I've had mine now for at least a week. They arrived the day after I got the UPS notice. Where the heck do you live girl?? Hope you have them by the time you read this message!
