Attention Cathe Live subscribers: Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 9:15 am EST we’ll be doing “Burn Sets: Express Legs Heavy Weight”!!! Get ready for an express leg workout that uses heavier weights at a moderately paced 10 to 12 rep range. You’ll have 5 rounds of leg exercises that alternate between variations of squats, lunges, and deadlifts in each round. Have a variety of handweights so that you have options to quickly switch to heavier or lighter if needed. It will take a couple of workouts to find your perfect challenge so have a notebook handy to jot down your weights.
Various weighted dumbbells ranging from 10 pounds to 45 pounds (I’m only using one 45 pound dumbbell for pick up sumo squats).
Two weight plates (or another slightly elevated, nonslip, or non-rolling object) to place under heels or toes for a couple of exercises.
