I love my Turbo Jams too. I agree with you and Mariangeles. I find them fun. I am also waiting for the new ones to get here next week.
To those who haven't tried it yet.....or who want a comparison....
I don't think you can compare them to Cathe as it is like comparing apples to oranges.
;-)
I find them fun, a different approach, and the Ab Jam has some different moves to make me motivated to work the dreaded ab section.
The music is awesome. Chalene spends a lot of time getting the music matched to her moves. She has DJ skills. I believe Chalene is going to increase the intensity on these future workouts as her original Turbo Kicks is very intense (so they tell me).
As far as cueing, there is a instructional video included in the set to teach you the proper form. One isn't to go further until one has the moves down, then you are invited to "the party" , as Chalene says.
When I told my neighbor about TurboJam in September, she came over and worked out with me. Then she invited about 15 other people to come over and do the workout in my workout room. 5 of those people bought the Deluxe Kit and 2 of them keep borrowing my DVDs. So... I guess TJ appeals to some people. Whatever gets you off the couch, right?
Now I need to find the new Shox boot NZ and a Juicy skirt....;-)
