I love all tricep exercises except dips. I HATE those. I agree with Shelley who once said, "Every time Cathe says it's time for dips, I keep hoping she'll pull out the chips and salsa." :p I usually sub something else.
 
I don't mind doing 1 arm kickbacks w/band, but i really hate the traditional bent over ones w/dbs! Doing this in BMax2 is what prompted me to do this poll. Sometimes i sub lying xover exts or tri push ups for kickbacks in my workouts, so I was wondering what exercises others liked/hated...

Yeah - over time I've worked up to be able to do these, but only in moderation.

Dips here, too. Hate 'em. I've had shoulder injuries that have taken a loooooong time to heal, and when doing dips I feel like I'm right on the brink of injury again. So I substitute something else. Maybe I just don't have good form, but it's not worth taking a chance.

I always feel very awkward doing kickbacks. My arm will simply not straighten out entirely even with no weight at all. It's never been a comfortable exercise for me. I could do dips forever though, with or without the salsa:+

I have no idea why, but I cannot do overhead extensions. Period. I have to substitute something else every time. x(
 
I chose dips because I simply can't do them. I broke my left wrist many years ago and while I have full strength in the wrist, I don't have full flexibility and I get a 'sprain' of sorts every time I try to do dips, pr push ups with a flat palm. I do my pushups on my finger tips and I do some dips using handle bars, I just don't like the way it feels in my shoulders.

I love dips. I really don't mind working my triceps at all. I much prefer those over my biceps. The exercise I hate the most is the overhead extension. It hurts my elbows.
 
I chose dips, but triceps pushups are a really close second. They make me feel positively surely.

I voted for tricep pushups. I LOVE dips on the stabilty ball for some reason and I'm surprised to see so many don't like them, just goes to show why variety is good so everyone is happy!
 
My most DREADED exercise is side planks. I have the most trouble with side planks where you lift your body and then raise a leg because they hurt my shoulders.

It used to be the dips but I finally got where I could do those better (still wouldn't say I'm anywhere near enjoying them or anything). I still have a hard time with tricpe push ups--I usually feel I just can't do them with good form so I'm wasting my time (though I'm sure I'm still working something, just not the triceps.

I used to hate dips but one day for some reason I gritted my teeth & really pushed it & found that I really could do them all! I actually look forward to them now.

I hate tricep pushups but I imagine I would like them better if I could do them!:p

My most dreaded is lying extensions with the barbell. I can never use as much weight as Cathe. Makes me feel like such a whimp!
