the catch
Hi,
I bought the 10 minute trainer because I was trying to recover from a 3 week cold. Couldn't do P90X because I felt too weak ( was at week 9 already too...which really bugs me ) and figured why not?
It comes with a rotation that recommends 3 workouts/day. At first it seems easy enough but by the 7th day it starts to get you. particularly because I didn't want to do the same cardio routine that often, even if it is only 10 minutes. My solution is to add extra cardios just to trick myself into thinking it isn't exactly the same routine. It is a good 10 minute cardio though.
The total body moves a tad too fast, and if that is supposed to be the strength training portion, it's hard to swallow that it would do anything. The leg routine won't fix heavy thighs overnight either. I think the only way that this routine would produce results is if you did the 3 workouts/day and followed the 1,000 to 1,200 calorie diet that they suggest.
Technically, who wouldn't lose weight on a 1000 calorie diet?
