This is fun - your theme song

I am so excited about this! Mine is "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You", but it is the UB40 version.

I was so excited when I saw that because when I first started dating my husband, I left that song on his answering machine because I was too shy to tell him that I WAS falling in love with him.....

Mine is "Call Me" by Blondie

Hmmmm....

"Welcome the challenge...embrace it...don't fear it." - Cathe Friedrich

Okay - I have to laugh...

The number one song on the day I was born - It's Been a Hard Day's Night

The number one song on the day I turned 18? - Eye of the Tiger (I have a red belt in Tae Kwon Do and a blue belt in Krav Maga)... And I LOVE punching to this song in Cardio Kicks.

When I turned 6 in 1955, it was "Autumn Leaves" by Roger Williams. The US charts don't go back to the day I was born! Cheez, I feel old! I think I'll go do some push-ups!
Just Do It! :)

Jdoll,

Is your bday April 16, 1979 by chance....I have the same songs on my bday, which is April 16!!!
I think it fits me!

That's mine too Kali. We must have been born the same year.:)

For my 18th b-day it was Father Figure by George Michael. That's interesting.

What an awesome site Nancy! Problem is, my productivity this afternoon has plummeted dramatically since I started perusuing it!:+

I love that the #1 song on the day I was born was "Good Luck Charm" by Elvis. I'll have to check with my Mom to see if it is appropo.

Blondie, "Call Me" was #1 on my 18th birthday, I remember partying pretty hardy to that music and just singing it in my head brings me back to those carefree days!

Thanks, that was fun!

Take Care
Laurie :)

This is a fun thread! My son and I were looking up some relatives' theme songs too.
8 Days a Week by the Beatles was number one in the US when I was born and in the UK The Last Time by the Rolling Stones.

My theme song is Billie Jean (yuck!) in the US and Total Eclispe of the Heart in UK. (I like that one better!)

Day I was born: Theme from 'A Summer Place' by Percy Faith (never heard of it)

Day I turned 18: Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees

Thanks for the link Nancy...that was fun!

Oh, no, Michele. Not Tie a Yellow Ribbon. What an entirely annoying song. It doesn't fit you at all. On the other hand Unchained Melody is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, so they balance out.

OH! This is making me feel OLD!!

Day I was born: Can't Buy Me Love by the Beatles

Day I turned 18: I Love Rock and Roll by Joan Jett

Oddly enough I really like this Beatles song growing up....and I thought Joan Jett was cool.....loved the hair and all that leather.....hee hee.

My theme song is: Say Say Say - Paul McCartney & Micheal Jackson...I've never heard of it.

The day I was born: We Can Work It Out - The Beatles

I turned 18 in the early 90's. Mine is Janet Jackon's Black Cat (U.S.), which is pretty cool, but horro of horrors, it is also Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice (UK)
