The Most "Underrated" Cathe Videos?

RE: The Most

I really like MIS. Maybe it's because I got it when it came out (and still only have it on video) and it's nostalgia, but I really like it.

Question on PP/SS: I've been thinking about buying this one partially because the premixes look really good--has anyone done the premixes and if so, do you have a favorite one? TIA!

RE: The Most

I agree with that PP/SS is an under rated strength workout but, being the cardio/step junkie that I am, I think that StepWorks is greatly under rated, it's intense, challenging and, even after all of these years, I never get tired of it:) Big fun factor!

RE: The Most

Johnanah,
The premixes on PP/SS are many - one of the beauties of it. Therefore, it's kind of hard to state a favorite (there are almost 20 options on this DVD when you include the primary workouts). They're very fun though, as you have, for example and upper body option that repeats the series of exercises three times - so it really blasts you. It's a DVD definitely worth the purchase price!!

RE: The Most

Thanks for getting back to me! I think that dvd has officially moved to the top my my "most wanted list"--Of course, I already pre-ordered the 4 day split so I have to wait a teeny while--hope I can last a week before I start typing my credit card numbers in...

RE: The Most

The SS/PP premixes are a very effective way to use the workouts.

I've been playing around with a rotation JillyBean put together when the workouts were first released. It's made up completely of Body Blast Series premixes and holey moley! those SS/PP premixes can be very challenging!

RE: The Most

My vote is for Power Circuit and Step & Intervals from the CTX series. I never see anyone talking about those on the forums, but I think they are awesome workouts!

Step Works and Supersets

Here is another vote for Step Works and Supersets. Step Works is definitely in the same league with my beloved Rhythmic Step. :7 The choreography is fun, fun, fun! :7 Supersets is the only weight training workout that is pure fun for me. It is *almost* as much fun as a cardio workout. Of course, nothing compares to Cathe cardio! ;)

RE: Step Works and Supersets

I'd have to agree that SS/PP are way underrated. These workouts are great for when I'm pressed for time but want to hit every muscle group. They are also great when I have extra time and can make use of all those wonderful premixes.

It's probably too early to say Low Impact Circuit is underated, since it's still pretty new, but there doesn't seem to be much said about this one. I just love it. The cardio sections are fun and the weight sections are good. I like the way the band is worked in. Also, it fills my need for great low impact workouts.
