The more I do LIS..the more the challenge increases!

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm talking about AB and CS.
I've noticed that everytime I do them I feel more and more challenged, as if my body, instead of getting accustomed to them, is shocked by the new experience. Could it be possible? I know I've increased my weights during a couple of cycles, but don't think this is enough to justify such fatigue. For instance, yesterday while doing mountain climbers in CS, I felt my quads burning like never before.Well, the good news is that I'm happy with this sense of challenge, but I don't understand where it comes from.:)

Hi Eleonora!

I did AB the other day and struggled to get through it whereas other times I had no problem. I just thought it was PMS getting the best of me. CS, I did yesterday too and cursed those mountain climbers! I don't know, maybe when you get adapted to an exercise and go faster, harder or increase weights, it becomes more challenging. For instance, the mountain climbers, maybe when you first started LIS, you did them slower and your range of motion was not as deep. Now that you are stronger and accustomed to them, you may be going faster and bringing your knee's up further which would make them more challenging. Also, the weight of the dumbbell would make the workout harder. If you started with 5's and then to 8's or 10's, I would think your body would go through a little shock, making the workout feel more intense. Just my opinion, don't know if it makes sense or not.

Have a good day :)

I think you're right, I probably increased speed or range of motion without being aware of that, that is why I couldn't understand where all that fatigue came from..
