Good morning ladies

Today is PLB and abbs,and i will have to have my DH spot me on the heavier weight! I wish I had room for a squat rack...

Ive been working in my yards the last couple of evenings and boy does it feel great to get out of the house. I planted some flowers yesterday...snapdragons,climbing cardinals and petunias(sp?) and plan on planting some more this weekend,verbenia and geraniums. So much fun! the weathers been lovely down here!

The scale continues to plumitt as well,just one more lb to go to get all this water weight off:) I can't believe it took a week to do so x(. Im glad it was all water though!:7

Shirl-you did a great workout yesterday as well,i haven't tried p90x...im kinda spoiled to cathe and wont try anybody else! My favorite American Idols are the little young guy,can't remember his name. And brooke! Which are your favorites? I was kinda surprised chakesie got the boot :-(,i though he had a lovely voice!

Elaine-how is your 7 yr old doing today? I hope better...

Roxie-good job on your eating yesterday.

Jean-Great workout yesterday,a 50min jog is AWSOME! I can jog about 15minutes on the tm before i start having to really focus.

Kath-great 8miles yesterday ..high fives! You got doms in your chest?

Good Morning:)

Im suppose to be at work but I called in sick..last night:) I told them that DS was sick and there was no way I could send him out.I never use my sick days and Im sure my boss is well aware (not that I care)Ive been there 3 yrs and have only called in sick once.

Yeah, there is no planting flowers around here anytime soon eitherx( There is still piles and piles of snow on my lawn!

Ameila** Glad to hear it was just water weight! PHEW!:) How many weeks do you have left with this round of BFL? Are you going to do another 12 weeks?

Shirl** Enjoy your workout!

Todays workout is gonna be biceps and Im not sure what else....maybe CF? Ill figure something out!

Morning, or for me its bed time,

I've just finished work so I thought, I'd post quickly and then get into bed. have a headache which I am trying to knock before it turns into a migrane. Had a fairly goodish day. Fab workout, gymstyle and MIS shoulders, followed by CTX kickbox and the pilates for the the but, thighs and hips (my problem areas). I am very sore from the previous chest and back workouts.

Jean - I am taking the baby steps this time and feel much more determined. I think if we can loose a little bit of weight we will begin to want to stay on track and keep on going.

Marcia- You are soooo busy!! I don't know how you fit it all in! What type of yoga do you do?

Kath - Have you been running long? I found that since I am 43 my cardio stamina has really disappeared.

Shirl - I live down the bottom end of Australia in Victoria. Mention to your boys the Eureka Stockade and the Ballarat Gold fields. Thats where I live but I was originally Melbourne born and bred.

Lori - You make me laugh!! Your advice re running : "Start off small, oh about 5kms"???? YOu call 5kms small?? I call 1 km small, and most of that would be walking!! LOL :) That tickled my funny bone, only because I can't run far at all and you suggested 5 ks isn't far.!!! Whew, I'd better sit down just thinking about how far it isn't!

Becca - I am a mad chick lit fan. It helps me to unwind after a long and stressful day, harmless, non thinking reading and its enjoyable!

Roxie - I hope your dog is ok, and responds to the meds. When he is better I will share my dog tale, but not now. Hopefully, things have improved.

Amelia - Huge workout yesturday! AND WEIGHT LOSS TODAY!! I am jealous, I have to catch up!! ;-)

If I've missed anyone I am sorry but its been a long long day.

I will be away over the weekend so no weekend post until sunday night which I think is still your Saturday. I havn't proof read this so if there are spelling and grammar errors please ignore.

Good Morning Everyone,

Dog is taking medicine and keeping it down, but she is still not eating, an that worries me. Tonites workout is LIC total body premix. Don't know what meals are going to be need to go to grocery store ran out of everything. I will do a subway salad for lunch. Have a good day everyone.

I love reading everyone's workouts.

This morning I did CC #1 on my rebounder and used my high step for the hill climbs, B&G ball abs and stretch. We do not own a cardio machine, yet! I keep trying to talk DH into buying an ellipitcal. I think he would use it too. Well at least that's what I tell him. }(

Laura: No planting flowers here either. We have a 2 hour delay today. It snowed and now it is freezing rain.:eek:

Roxie: Big cyber hugs for your dog.

Amelia: My DS is better today. I think he just needed some rest and time with mommy. Thanks for asking.

Andrea: I laughed too at the 5km. I'm in the same boat as you with running. I'm hoping by using CC every week I can build some endurance and try outside. That is if it ever stops snowing!


Hi to anyone else I missed.

Weekends get real busy around here. I will try to check in. Tonight is my cheat meal, usually homemade pizza. Over the weekend I usually have a cheat snack. I think I am going to try and make some sweet potato baked chips and ginger yogurt dip.

I got done with GS legs(did that instead of PLB)did all the standing work and is shaking like a polaroid picture! Lifted heavy too. Man I don't like the word hate but I HATE those slow motion lounges,they will kill a gal;-)

Quickie drive by post....

I got up early to WO and started chatting with DS instead and then the other kiddos got up, so it got put on the back burner. I plan to do 4DS KB this afternoon as soon as I get back from the dentist. My sister is coming this weekend so I don't know what that will do for my WO's. I will try to stay on schedule while she is here.

This morning was Itread 10 phase 1. It was my first time doing it. I liked it alot.

Someone said good job on the 50 min jog for yesterday and I just needed to clarify that it was 50 min walking and jogging. Only about 30 was jogging. So no kudos for me yet. I hope to get back up to 50-60 minutes like I was doing last summer, but I'm taking it slow and listening to my body and my dog. She is my pace setter so I can't do too much too fast or I'll kill us both. LOL.

Everyone, remind me where you are from. I know we posted personals at the beginning of the first challenge, but I have forgotten where everyone lives. Many of you keep mentioning snow, so I know it's up north. I'm from Texas and our weather is suppose to cool off again, so I can only imagine what you snow bonders live through.
 
Jean I don't think I ever posted where I was from. I guess I am keeping it a secret. LOL

I live in the Central part of Massachusettes.

Becca: My 7 yr old has a tendency to side track me.
I always tell him follow me downstairs we can talk while I work out. He would much rather just jump on my rebounder instead of talking.

Afternoon Girls :)

Today I did circuits. Butt burning for sure :) :)
I also worked my back to some supersets of things. I took advantage of using the machines at the gym for my abs.

Lori: I'm sorry your lil guy is sick. Hope he gets better soon.DH never takes a sick day either. He tells stories about how some people at his work abuse it.

Roxie: Your poor dog. Hope he/she gets better soon.

Jean: I tried to message ya but your profile was turned off. Any who-- I'm in New York-upstate.

Becca: I'm going to Myrtle Beach. We usually have a condo but this year we found a new hotel with lots of *extras* we can enjoy.

I best move my butt. My Friday afternoons fly.
Not sure what we have planned this evening or for the weekend.

Done with Imax 3 and GS&PUB Bics. You never there is seriously something wrong when you think about adding on another workout after Imax3:p But I didn't!:)

I think DS is starting to come around b/c he has been down for a nap for quit sometime. He hasn't been sleeping well the past couple of days so I think he is playing catch up.

Ive got brain fart! Can't remember what I just read!

So I will say...good workouts to everyone!!!! (that should cover it!);)

Hello!

I can't remember who asked if I did P90X, but yes I did a 13 week P90X rotation last year and a 7 week P90x+ rotation this year. I really like P90X & X+; got pretty good results. I plan on doing a combo (X&X+)rotation the end of May.

Lori, Hope the little guy wakes up from his nap feeling better. The plan is to go to Toronto. How far are you from Toronto? It's hard to remember everyone but, I try to at least say hello; most everyone does. :)

Elaine, You've inspired me to try CC on my rebounder & high step - thank-you!

Jean, I still think you deserve KUDOS! I'm from the Upstate NY area - cold and snowy.

Hey everyone - I'm a tired girl today!!! I bartended last night until midnight, so a workout this morning was not going to happen. I plan on my first run of the season after work today (about 1 1/2 hours away :) ) I'm just going to run for as long as I can, probably max at 45 minutes if I make it that long. I'm not going to worry about how far or how fast, just get in some time. I will have to buy a running pedometer this weekend so I can start looking at the mileage and start planning for some upcoming races in the area. DS's cousin is coming over after school with him, so maybe we'll go on a hike or something after my run??? Hmmmmm......it I tire them out maybe I can relax, too, tonight.

I Dream - I 'tried' the FIRM Power Yoga and thought it was OK?? I have had a tough time getting into yoga and this was actually pretty good and only 35 minutes so I didn't get bored or anything.
