....I was readin' the Cathe stats. I think that is awesome! The average age 41 and as good lookin' as we are because we workout! Of course I have anniversaries of being perpetually 22. ;)

I think I'm 27, but the birth certificate says 45.....that makes me 36 right? Bringing the curve down ;) Ok...if only in my mind

That's really cool! It's so great to see all the women here who have made fitness a part of their lives.

Wonders if her upcoming birthday on Saturday will edge the number closer to 42 ;-)

I am a couple of months away from average. And I also remember Yogi. "Ranger Smith isn't going to like this..."

I am 13 yrs shy of the average age but I remember yogi and boo boo :) but the flinstones and jetsons are my favorite

No kidding.....

On this I'm WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY above average!

I remember Pinky Lee, Howdy Doody and Andy's Gang! No, they were not cartoons, just adults acting like cartoons!

Hmm I wonder where their stats come from---if it's from our forum registration I doubt I put my real birth date since I don't normally do so online. Not because I care if people know my age, but for security/anonymity reasons. However, I think the 41 average age is probably reasonably accurate. We're a "mature" group (most of the time!) :)

I remember Pinky Lee...

This gave me a giggle---I don't remember Pinky Lee but I do know who he is/was. My mom once made reference to "Pinky Lee, that little pervert" when she meant Pee Wee Herman. I was completely confused until I realized she didn't mean Pinky Lee. Pinky was weird, but not a pervert (at least not as far as I know!)

Thanks for the laugh! :D

On thing I've noticed is, that when I started going to the gym at the age of 21, most of the members there were the same age. And they stayed my age for the last 20 years.

The demographics of exercise have changed. Today's younger crowd doesn't seem to be into the "buff & cut" look (I know, that phrase is out of date too, but I don't know today's lingo for being fit). The 20s group likes their curves. It's the "more mature" demo that appears to fret more about staying below 18% bodyfat. ;)
