The Anti-Wah Wah Wah Thread

This thread is for people who have no need to rant and whine about the grave injustices http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/grouch/th_rolleyes.gif of the world.

If you've got a happy thought for the day or something actually going RIGHT in your life, let's hear it.

I'll start: green lights all the way into work this morning.

I got a great paycheck (nice commission check) so I got to celebrate with all sorts of fun exercise equipment like a BOSU and a Kettlebell workout! YAY!

PS - Another good thing that happened today is that Cathy started this thread.

PPS - YAY SHELLEY! YOU GO GIRL!

Just got back from a wonderful 3 day trip to the snow with 3 other families!!! Soooo much fun sledding and watching the kids have a blast! :)

My husband is home...he was only gone overnight but it felt like a week. I can't stand it when he's gone, he's my best friend, and my rock.

We've got a warm comfy house, we're having nachos for dinner (yum!) and we've got an episode of Amercan Idol to watch, life is good! :p

Got info on our bonuses today and found out they are getting deposited next Monday and not by the end of February!!! Now I can buy STS! }(

I'm not going to lie, I'm having a hard time thinking of positive things right now. If you'll let me complain for just a moment....

I just found out that my parents, who have been married for 36 years, are getting divorced. I've never seen my Dad cry before and I just saw him cry tonight for the second time in a week. I also just broke up with my SO of a year (our anniversary was Monday) who I also lived with. I have no place to go so I am currently living in the spare bedroom of my parent's house (with my cat) amidst all of the sadness and drama concerning their relationship. Ok, wow. I just took the first deep breath that I've taken for weeks. Thanks.

Anyway, on the positive side, I worked out this morning (which I never do!) before work at 5am and did GS legs, Coremax 3 and 30 pushups!

Allison, sorry to hear that things are so rough right now. {{{hugs}}} Keep taking deep breaths; I'm sure it will take a while, but I hope you're feeling better soon.

Hugs and Prayers

Allison, my heart is breaking for you. :-( Divorce is so hard. I am so sorry about your relationship ending too. :-( I am praying for you and your parents tonight. Hugs to you.

As for me, my Biggest Loser team won the weigh-in last night! :7 I am still enjoying Cathe’s 4-Day Split, getting stronger every week, using PlateMates to increase my weights, and consistently losing 2 pounds every week. :7 I even lost 2 pounds during PMS week thanks to Jillian’s cranberry lemon cocktail. That was a first for me because I usually gain 5 pounds before my cycle starts.

Blessings,
Heather B.

A close friend / fellow co-worker of mine, who usually rides into work with DH and me only on Fridays, rode in with us today as well - always love to start the day with a chat and cuppa joe with her;

The young daughter of another friend of mine has survived her first year post-major-organ transplant, and is almost completely back to normal;

An anticipated raise in salary will be almost $200 more per month than I'd originally expected;

DH and I just finished updating our kitchen counters/sink, floors and carpeting with smashing and absolutely hassle-free results;

Shalom! L'Chaim!

Life is great! New episode of Lost tonight. I have lots of cool new scrapbooking supplies and gadgets to keep me happy. I might get a snow day tomorrow. *crossing fingers* I love all my fellow Catheites. Life is GREAT! :D

After a calm and quiet afternoon with DD, she is safely tucked in bed with her 7,000 stuffed animals.

There's a pint of Hagen Dazs Caramel Cone in the freezer waiting for me to take my small but heavenly serving.

There's a sweet natured man at home with his boys who will be calling me later on.

I got my health, I got my foam roller, I got this website with all these cool folks.

Life is indeed great!

Tomorrow is Friday! Yay!!!

I just came back from a great boot camp session with kettlebells and tons of lunges, squats and swings. I used 35 pounds and survived!

Had a great time at work today talking to our departing student intern. Lots of sharing and laughter.

Life is good!

My DH has been gone too, gets back tonight,I miss him so much when he is away so I am excited to see him tonight:7 :)

I have been sticking to a very hard diet and exercise program and have lost 6 pounds so far-I am proud of myself for sticking with it and pushing myself out of my comfort zone (although, ask me in another 4 weeks or so, I might be growling by then;) )

Who mentioned Carmel Cone ice cream??!:7
