Talk to me about CTX

LL is the most awesome leg workout EVER!!! I like the step portions of CTX, too. I mesh them all together... I really REALLY like CTX! And you know that you will, too, so why do you even bother asking? :p

I have:

Ab Hits
Bootcamp/ME
Coremax
All the Gym Styles
Imax 3
Kickmax
KPC/L&G
Lowmax
MuscleMax
RS/Imax/MIC
Body Max/Power Hour/MIS
High Step Training Advanced
The Terminator

I think that's all. I just ordered SB/SJP because I only have SB on VHS and my VCR broke two weeks ago.

Shelley, Shelley.......must you ask?.......YOU HAVE TO HAVE THESE DVDs!!!!

The versatility and mish mosh opportunities in this series are amazing and seemingly limitless, I used it this morning mixing Rhythmic Step with CTX Step and Intervals and Chest work and PowerCircuit (one of my all time faves!) abs and stretch. If you only have a little time this series is perfect, if you've got a lot of time you can mix up workouts and get down and sweaty with your bad self. The PowerCircuit segment is awesome alone but rocks my world as an add on to the BodyMax circuit segment. Oh, oh and 10-10-10 is short and sweet heart thumping endorphin drenched cardio buffet. The DVD gives you an upperbody split workout that hits everything. I never tire of this series, if I have anything negative to say it's that the music isn't as great as some later releases but it definitely works.

I think Cindy at CK Sales is lonely and NEEDS you to call her, NOW!!!!:p :)

CTX will be a great addition to your workout library and to challenge your endurance as you run farther and farther. It's great bang for your buck, you can't go wrong with this one. Let us know what you decide.

Take Care
Laurie:)

>Well, that doesn't help!!! Every Cathe DVD is a must-have:p
>WHY is it a must-have??

well i don't have it but i know why i want it.btw i did have all step when i bought my first step so i am familiar with at least one workout and its setup.

1)6 workouts of quality and quanity for a good price
2)all an hour or less intense workouts for short on time days
3)makes for an easy series rotation
4)we all know cathe hasn't made a bad workout yet
5)b/c what else are you going to spend the money on LOL

See? That's what I'm talking about. Now I know why I MUST have it:) I just have to figure out where to get the money from;)

Sorry I didn't elaborate the phone rang earlier, but everything Laurie said. BTW, that's some great mish-moshing! I like adding CTX kickbox to KPC or KM. I like doing 2-3 of the abs segments too. The cardio segments are great when you're short on time.

I finally broke down and got it because I really wanted LL and I only have a DVD player in my workout room.

It is the one series of Cathe's that I was never really able to get into. And it's too much high impact for my knee.

I highly recommend it. I did it after a year off and got me back into shape very quickly. Guaranteed you will never get bored with it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CTX! It's so versatile. I use it alot for add on's to workouts. For instance, I use CTX Kickbox as an add on to KP&C. The upper body split and LL are both brutal and very effective.

Shelley,

You've gotten great responses. I always use CTX to get "back" after a vacation or illness. One more MUST so that you will be motivated to find the $$$: it works you so well that you can eat more cookies!

Have fun,
Paula

Short answer--YES.

I can't wait to replace CTX on video with DVD--very fun and versatile.

Maggie:)

Well, you've already decided to buy it, but, I simply have to say, "OH MY FREAKIN' HEAVENS! BUY IT!" They are great for days when you do not have a lot of time, but you want a hardcore workout (they get more done in 30 minutes, than many of the others!). As add ons to other workouts, they're killer. And for variety? Not sure if you want to do step or kickbox? Do both!

I love the way I can 'mix and match.' I will often combine two of the workouts for an hour long workout. And they are intense let me tell you. They might be shorter workouts, but they do NOT skimp on intensity. Buy, buy, buy! You won't be sorry. And, LL is just fabulous!

Okay, Shelley, you MUST have it because it's great for a 6 day rotation with 30 minutes of cardio followed by weight work (one body part a day). It has great ab workouts if you like good old fashioned crunch type ab work. The 30 minute cardio sessions are great in intensity (I love to use them in addtion to a full hour weight workout like ME.) AND it has LEANER LEGS!!! One of Cathe's BEST leg workouts. I'm in pain just thinking about it.

Is that a little more specific?:7

I LOVE the CTX series. I put off buying it for a long time, but it is now one of my most used series. It is so versatile. I use the cardio for a quick 30 minutes after a strength workout...the UBS is fantastic...LL is FAN-TABULOUS...the ab work is very effective...

GO FOR IT...you will not be sorry!
