sweat activated t shirts

I just tried my new shirt and it didn't seem to work. I sweated, and the message sort of appeared a little Then I poured some water on it and saw parts of 3 letters. I think this will work better in the summer when sweat is more profuse, but is there a certain sweat factor needed in order for the shirts to activate? Is too much water going to kill it? Or is my shirt defective?

Hate to tell you this, but this is old news to those of us who got these when they first came out! I really am surprised that they are still selling them since there was such a hub-bub about it, ( or at least what I thought was a hub-bub).

I got mine when they first had them and it has NEVER EVER shown the sweat message, and it gets HOT here in California, and believe me, I sweat.

We all love Cathe and know that this is not the company's modus operandi, so I am sure we all are giving grace for that. Hopefully, this kind of thing will not happen again. And also, I think it is a great shirt with or without the sweat message, don't you?

But honestly, looking on the bright side, you have gotten more message on your shirt than I have!

Thank you for your reply! The shirt is all right, but for $23 it should be AWESOME! I wanted a secret surprise so everyone would know just how hard I was working. I would have bought the Cathlete shirt instead if not for the hidden message (that remains a hidden)! If the message doesn't work I think it should say so in the description and the price should be a lot cheaper. I don't love the color or the Xtrain. I just loved the sweat message.

I bought 2 of the shirts, and was disappointed that the messages didn't work, either, despite lots of sweating. Then one day last month, I had no alternative but to wear a very thin cotton bra underneath, instead of my thick LLL padded support bra. To my surprise, the words finally appeared. The problem is that the words are positioned right across the bosom, not the ribcage, and women's support bras are probably preventing enough sweat to get through at the right spot. I'll bet men wouldn't have an issue with having the words appear.

I'm still disappointed in the shirts, because I bought 2, and paid for shipping to Canada. That's a lot of money for 2 plain t-shirts that are otherwise identical.
