Pros and cons:
Pros:
In addition to the two, 45-minute workouts, there are many premixes that work very well.
The 45-minute workouts are actually very efficient, because they eliminate some of the rest periods in other workouts by using the push/pull or circuit set-up.
Many people find SS/PP to be less intense than Cathe's other weight workouts. This is good for a lighter day.
Some of the premixes are more intense (like the upper body only, repeating the circuit 2 or 3 times).
The stability ball is used quite a bit in these, which adds a different type of challenge to the muscles and works the core.
Cons:
Many people find SS/PP to be less intense than Cathe's other weight workouts (Yes, I'm repeating myself!). So, if you're looking for "Cathe intensity," it's not here so much.
The stability ball is used quite a bit, so if you don't like it, or don't have one, it might not be a good idea to get these workouts.
I like S/S and P/P, and am glad to have them in my collection.
