Super Sets Rotation

Hi all!:)

I have started to do a full body rotation with Cathe dvds. I am really enjoying it! I am using MM, ME and PH.
I would like to do a rotation using Super Sets after I finish the rotation I'm doing now.(continuing working out my whole body in one day) I don't want to just add in a week of super sets; I was hoping for a rotation using the dvd for 3 or 4 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could either just drop one of the 3 you are doing now & insert SS OR....

You could look at your rotation in terms of days...(30-45-60-90) and
NOT weeks and just use all 4....

When doing only full body workouts there really isnt a reason to work in 7
day traditional rotations because you are hitting every part every few days...

So lets say you are doing your Full body workouts every 3rd day... You could do:

Day 1 MM
Days 2-3 ....whatever cardio you do
Day 4 PH
Days 5-6....whatever cardio you do/ rest day
Day 7 SS
Days 8-9....whatever cardio you do/ rest day
Day 10 ME
Days 11-12....whatever cardio you do/ rest day
Repeat the pattern for the 30-60-90 days that you desire for your rotation

If you wanted to use SS more often you could also just replace one of the ones I listed above with SS ..... I love F/B rotations for a change because they are pretty versatile...

Why don't you use a combination of the Super Set/Push Pull DVD and 4DS? 4DS works with supersetting. So you can work one or two body parts a day (example: SS Shoulder work & 4DS shoulder work one day and then go to a different body part the next day). This won't be total body like you have been doing but it will be good because it's different.

Maybe do something like this:

Week 1
Mon.: Chest & Back from SS & 4DS
Tues: Cardio
Wed.: Biceps & Triceps from SS & 4DS
Thurs: Cardio
Fri: Shoulders from SS & 4DS
Sat.: Legs from SS & 4DS
Sun.: Off

Week 2
Mon.: Chest & Back from PP & 4DS
Tues: Cardio
Wed.: Biceps & Triceps from PP & 4DS
Thurs: Cardio
Fri.: Shoulders from PP & 4DS
Sat.: Legs from PP & 4DS
Sun.: Rest

Repeat Week 1 then repeat week 2

Thanks, I've never done a rotation that wasn't 7day/4 weeks. I like the 30-60-90day idea.

Now I'm totally confused!!LOL:) I like your rotation too, and 4DS is my favorite series!!! And I love the 2 days only of cardio!! How much time of cardio would you recommend? half hour or an hour?



I think I will incorporate Traci's ideas into my current rotation and do the SS/PP and 4DS when done. Your right, the change would be good for me, I'm doing full body for about 5 weeks.

Cardio should be about 45 to an hour each session.

Sorry I confused you. I thought you were looking to do another rotation using the superset method.

Thanks for the cardio answer! When I said you confused me, its because I liked both suggestions!!:D And as usual, for me, I never thought to do SS any other way than produced!:confused: I really like your suggestion and can't wait to do it.
