sunless tanner rave!

Hi ladies, i just had to post and rave about the sunless tanner I have been using. Its famous daves sunless tanning lotion. It is great! I have tried EVERY brand out there from drug store brands to department store brands. This is the only sunless tanner that I have ever liked. It barely smells at all. It makes me sooooo brown. It never rubs off on my exercise clothes no matter how much I sweat. It fades evenly. What more can I say. I truely love the stuff and wanted to pass it along b/c i know many of you use sunless tanners. I get it from www.famousdavestanner.com Hope you like it.:D
 
You're tempting me. I hate being stark white, but I'm trying to be good and stay away from the tanning bed. I may have to try this out. Have you used any of their other products?
 
I will have to try this. Currently I use Neutrogena 3 shades darker than your skin tone micromist spray, if I don't use a spray I wind up with a white back!x( But it really does not leave you with a nice brown color, only a very light tan which is great for winter.
 
i use famous daves moisutre tan. its the same as his original but like the name suggests, moisturizes your skin. the original formula and moisutre tan give the same great results. i have used the body scrub but its no different than any other scrub you can buy at the supermarket. as far as getting it on your back, i have the flexibility to reach my whole back but if you have someone who lives with you just ask them to rub it on for you. it will stain your hands of course if you don't wash them so be sure to do that after application for 30 sec. the lotion doesn't have a color guide but is white so you can see where you are rubbing it in.
 
I have tried this, along with countless others. I can't remember being overly impressed. However, I always have trouble around the knees and ankles. I recently switched to a brand from dermstore.com Maybe it will be THE ONE.

Thank you soooo much for suggesting this. I purchased it online not long after I read your post. I absolutely love it. Hardly any smell and tans so well. Give this a try you will not be disappointed. Thanks again.

i'm soooo glad you liked it. do you mind me asking what skin tone you have (fair, medium, or dark) are you still moderately tanning with this or is this your sole tanning method? how often are you applying it?
 
I was just going to ask about the smell...a lot of sunless tanners are great and turn out a nice color, but I can't get beyond that STINK! LOL

this sunless tanner has the mildest smell. it will smell slightly due to the chemical reaction that gives you your sunless tan. theres no getting away from that but its not as strong as all the others i've tried.
 
Because of this discussion, I ordered a bottle of the Fair skin and Face Tanner. It arrived very quickly and I'm trying it on my face right now!

i have fair skin and ordered the regular one. i tried the light skin one first and didn't get the desired results i was looking for.
 
OK....I finally broke my self-induced spending freeze and ordered this last night! In the hopes of wearing a bikini for the FIRST time this summer, I don't want my white abs to blind anybody when the suns glares off of them! LOL

I would say I'm naturally medium tone skin. I use it on my legs because I dont want to wear hose and it gave a healthy tanned look. My legs look great and the pink polish on my toes really pop. I just started to do my arms face neck, upper chest/neckline area. I really love it. My hubby has commented how natural it looks and how good legs look in short and strappy sandals.

PS: very slight smell nothing like the others I've tried. I've applied it every 3rd day so far.

PPS: I live in SW Florida and I do not lay in the sun and usually protect my skin from the sun. So even though my skin is medium tone legs dont get too much sun and look dull. But not any more....;-)
