How is everyone? I haven't checked in for a while. Been busy and then DH and I went away for the weekend. I could check the internet from the hotel room but it was dial-up...soooo, you know what that was like! Didn't have the time or patience to post.
While I was away I splurged BIG TIME and I didn't workout. I brought my clothes to run but for some reason, I always found something else to do(or course!) I went out looking for "the Abs Diet" book and I found it.I started reading it yesterday and got about 1/2 way through so I am going to try starting it today.It may be a little hard b/c I only have read 1/2 of it. Says you could lose 5-8 lbs in the first two weeks though
Reading these books makes you realize how healthy we should be eating and that our bodies are not a garbage disposal.
I am working days today and tomorrow so my plans are to run in the morning and do weights in the evening.The book says that you don't have to workout for the first two weeks but we know thats not gonna happen!
I did some shopping this week and was not disappointed with the sizes I was trying on. I bought smalls in shirts and a 5 in the pants.I also had the lady look for a size 27 in the jeans I was trying on. Then I went to American Eagle....and that was a different story.I could get the 4's on but they were sooooo low that I didn't have to bend over in order for anyone to see my butt crack!
Anyway, I gotta go run so I will check in when I get to work to see if anyone else is awake.
