Summer Fitness Challenge April 11-17

HI Everyone,

Great job Lisa.It must feel so nice! I will feel good when my jeans aren't as snug on me anymore. Nothing worse then feeling like you are jammed into something.

Not a whole lot new around here. I am trying to follow the Abs Diet book (although I had a few chips last night) and I am going to get a good workout in today. I am also going to do cardio tonight or later this afternoon.
I am going to have a shake for my dinner and another one after my workout. Sounds like I am on the Slim Fast diet....not quit.

The puppy is working out o.k. He just peed and I punished him, showed him what he did wrong and put him outside.The thing that rotted me was that he just came in. He is doing o.k though b/c he barks at the patio door when he wants to poop but he thinks he can pee wherever, whenever! So I puished him and its as if nothing happened.He doesn't have a worry in the world.I think I am going to have a bad boy on my hands!

How is everyone else? Anyone else losing besides for Lisa? I am staying the same.

Hi Everyone,

I have been working out like crazy trying take this weight off. It was very disappointing to find out I had gained 2.8lbs in 1 wk when I weighed in on Monday at my ww meeting. I started tracking my points online, maybe that will help too.
Sat-GS Legs & KPC
Sun-Muscle End. & Imax 3
Mon-40 min interval run on the elliptical and 20 min stepper
Tues-MIC and Muscle Endurance

I'm also trying to hit the legs 4 to 5 times per week per the freestyle training program. I've had great results with this in the past. I've also started running again since that has really been the only thing that has ever kept my weight down. Hope it helps now!

I got home tonight and went for a nice 4 mile run. I was going to do Coremax, but decided that a shower, my pj's and the couch looked better!
 
Good Morning....I don't know if I am losing, I haven't weighed myself since I lost the 1/2 lb. a couple of weeks ago. I feel good. Yesterday I did HSC. Today I think I will do Kick Max. I am also really working on my lower body. Tonight I am having my Renewal Show. Every year when we resign w/ Premier, we get to have a Renewal Show. I am starting my 5th year. It is unbelievable that I have been doing this so long. I am so very happy at it!!

Hi Lori! What's Premier, if yo don't mind me asking?

I didn't do anything yesterday after my Taebo, but I did P90X Shoulders and arms today - I was able to up my weights and my shoulders are killing me!

Lisa, thanks for the info about P90X. I bet my husband will like something like that. Awesome job on the weight loss and size difference! What a feeling!!!

Diana, how is your son? I hope all is well. Same with Robyn. :)

I did LowMax last night at around 10. I had a full day. After soccer practice we went to my sister's house to visit because she lives right next to the ball fields. We stayed too long, ordered pizza. When I got home I lazed around a but and had to really talk myself into working out. I am so glad I did!

I ran 3 miles today, walked 2. I bought a MP3 player. I love it. It makes running so much fun. I have a lot of good songs on it, and sometimes it makes you want to run faster. But, usually I am just trudging along, no matter what cool tune is playing. :)

Hi All,

Yesterday was a rest day. Today I ran 7 miles at lunch. I am definetly hoping that adding running back into my program, this fat will come off.

NurseLori-we haven't received my son's EEG results yet. My Dr. is on vacation until next week.

Shelley-Let me know how you do with A-jocks mish mosh. I gonna try to figure out how long it is, and if it's not too long I will give it a shot tomorrow morning.

It ROCKED. But oh my was it hard.

I'm not exactly sure how long it was. I tacked on the KPC abs and stretch at the end. I think it may have been just over an hour with those added, but then again, it may have been longer. I forgot to look at the time when I started. Oops. And time was wasted a bit with the switching of dvd's, since I don't have a multi-disk player. But it was wickedly divinely WOW!:)
 
Diana- The agony of waiting for test results!!! That is torture!!! I hope it is going smoothly for you, and worry free.

Ladies- Premier Designs is High Fashion Jewelery. It is a direct sales company. I do home shows, like Tupperware, Mary Kay, etc. A Renewal Show is where I am reneweing my liscense for another year. I am starting my 5th year, and I absolutely LOVE it. It is a biblically-based business, and they are the best, but of course, you can understand why I would say that. I worked in a factory for 18 years before I stumbled onto this, and now I stay home, and do this full-time. I am very happy.

I did not work out yesterday. I just had a busy day. I got my Joyce workouts yesterday, so I will try one of the lower body's and see how I like it.

Hi Ladies,

I am getting ready for another weekend of night shifts!BLAH! Luckly there isn't much to do so everything should go o.k. The first night back is the hardest. I am finally only working ONE job now so I can really enjoy my days off.It was alittle weird the last couple of days though b/c I felt like I should be somewhere.

I got up today and ran for 45 min.Then enjoyed my coffee.Now I am baking cookies and getting ready for a nap.I am not sure why I decided to bake when I knew I needed to sleep.
I was also hoping to do CTX UB if not, I will have to do it tomorrow.I have been getting alot of weight work in, which is great.My arms are still sore from GS the other day and my legs are sore today from PLB yesterday.
Eating as been pretty good. Yesterday I ate way to much b/c my MIL made one of my favorites!

Hi Ladies,

Since I didn't get up in time to work out this morning, I went for a 7 mile run at lunch today.

Shelley-I will do the mish mosh this weekend. Since I'm planning on doing a week of circuits anyway-this will fit right in. It is TOM and I need to go home and eat dinner before I scarf anymore chocolate from the candy dishes laying around here.

Lori-I just started back running about a month ago, after more than a year hiatus. I have about an hour or so at lunch to work out. Started out doing 5 miles twice a week and am hoping to run 7 miles 3 times a week starting next week. Then eventually add in another day or 2. I am running a 10K over memorial weekend. Not as hard as running in the sand and rain!

Well, tonight I did a 4 mile run and then the upper body push pull from MM along with the abs. It'll make up for the pop I drank this afternoon! My legs were a bit sluggish for the run after A-Jock's mish-mosh quad extravaganza last night, but they soon settled in. I just finished doing Dustmax and I think I'm gonna put Laundrymax off until tomorrow and just do Showermax!
 
Hi Ladies,
I was gonna say good morning but Im probably the last one up! I did night shift last night and I slept ALOT but I still feel lazy. I normally will get a little snooze in but last night I slept from 1-4:30, and then 5:30-6:45. It was almost a full nights sleep but it was very broken and not a good sleep.
I haven't eaten yet. I think I am gonna workout first and then I am going to have a shake from the Abs Diet book.
I am also doing Imax3 and CTX UB today. I am going to try and go heavy with my weights. I have been really lazy lately with the lifting so I thought it was time to keep it up a notch.Whats the point in working out if you use the same weight all the time? SO thats what I have been doing and my legs are arms are still sore from last weeks workout.CRAZZZZYYYYY.

Happy Saturday Ladies,

This morning I plan on doing CTX UB and A-Jocks leg frier mish mosh that Shelley has already done. Am going to a birthday party for my neice today, she is 17. Will work hard at eating the best I can today. I'm hoping that since I said that, the positive reinforecement will be there at cake time.

I went to a baby shower brunch this morning. Fattening food all around, and of course the piece of cake.

Excellent job Diana on your running!!

Good evening ladies!

Well, I'm at a bit of a loss, as my DD is at a birthday party, my house is clean, my laundry is done and my workout is done. *twiddles thumbs*

This morning I did KPC. Haven't really eaten much today, just been picking. Weekends seem to go that way. I got my TOM this morning, so it's been Crampmax:p Thank goodness for Advil.
