RE: Tough love!
Hi everybody,
I haven't checked in for a while. Things have been crazy. I had a big party for my son's second birthday yesterday with all of our friends and their kids. Today is his birthday, he is 2. I have been cleaning, gardening, and organizing for days on end. I haven't been doing Cathe nor running. Tonight I am having ANOTHER party for my dear toddler for immediate family. So after this, things can go back to normal again.
I went back and read all of the posts.
Bobbi, I loved your motivational pep talk.
I needed that. Junk food has been my daily staple for the last 2 weeks. This morning was fresh strawberrries, and coffee. Do you live in Florida Bobbi? I noticed you have a lemon tree, and your sister a grapefruit tree.
Lisa, awesome job on 64 pushups!!!!! That is phenomenal!! I can't even do 2 regular pushups.
Everybody seems to be doing a great job with their eating and especially workouts. I feel so lazy compared.
Good news!! My sister's baby doesn't need surgery on his skull. Turns out he has a very mild case, and the suture lines that are affected start to close at this age anyway. He is doing fine, a normal little baby. That means we are still going to Washington DC.
I am working out today, I think running. And starting the fat loss rotation tomorrow. I am running another 5k on April 30. I didn't plan on running another race so soon, but it is for my friend who has melenoma.
Diana, I hope everything is ok with your son. I am thinking about you.
Robyn, glad you are back.
Have a nice day everybody!
Lori
