Step Moves is much more difficult to learn than Rhythmic Step and does not provide as good a cardio workout (good for a day when you are particularly tired or recovering from illness perhaps). Athletic Step is easier to learn than Step Moves and provides a better cardio workout, possibly better than Rhythmic Step, although both Athletic Step and Rhythmic Step are good. Step Moves is fun and has good music but that goes only so far when you need a good cardio workout.
I like Step Jam, which is on Cathe Classics Volume #1, because it's a good workout with easy to follow moves that somehow do not get boring for me. The music isn't quite as good as Rhythmic Step, but the workout has "staying power" for me. I've been doing it for a long time. I like Rhythmic Step a lot, but parts of it have become boring to me. I like Step Jam better.
