We don’t have a shipping date yet for the Tower, but I think we will have a pretty good idea in another week or two. The tooling up process is now complete for the Tower. This is where we go from handmade models to automated real production pieces. During the tooling up phase 17 samples were sent and tested and then tweaked and improved by the FBC team here in the USA.
The final Tower units have to be shipped from China by a cargo container ship. The factory should finish the production of the presale Tower units this week, but we won’t know how long it will take for the shipment to arrive here until a few more weeks.

I can't wait until it gets here! I've just finished Meso 1 and have this week off...hoping it will be shipped before Meso 3. There's no hurt in hoping!

Bumping for an update. We sure would appreciate a new update on the
tower...It's been a little over 2 wks since you said you would know more
in a week or two...surely, they have been shipped from China now and
on their Way? Do you know approx. how long it takes to come?

As soon as we have new information about the Tower we will certainly provide it, but we really don't have any new information to share since our last update. I know we should have two final production units to show everyone on the road trip, but these are being flown in from China while the rest are coming by boat. I know Altus seems very pleased with the final production units, but they haven't given us a delivery date yet.

I just wanted to jump in and say I am excited about getting the tower
Also, I work for a small company that imports things and the shipping manager has been going home with headaches over the new customs rules. They are so stringent and if you make a mistake on your order, customs can seize your order and never give it back.
so I appreciate the struggle everyone is going through to get us these items

Does this mean that they are currently on the way & will be shipped out once they arrive via boat? So, I assume we won't be getting them until sometime after the RT...
who knows????? I think that it is great that roadtrip participants will get
to see and possibly try out the new tower and it sounds like special
efforts are being made to get some units there for that event...but how
about the ones that preordered with good faith, product basically sight
unseen, except for the few pictures, I would think that special efforts would
be made to get our product to us as quickly as possible. I guess it is, but
it bothers me a little that again that no one knows the answers to very
simple questions::: are the presale units indeed finished and have been

China....

I would bet large amounts of money that we won't get it until after the RT. They would have to start shipping them to us within a week to make that happen.
My take on the comment, I did not read it as they are currently on a boat, as much as they will be on a boat eventually. Not that I don't want it of course, but now that I have had to break down my gym, even if I do get it, it's staying in a box for a while, I'm kind of bummed about that.

As someone who deals in imports every day, there are LOTS of variables that affect delivery dates, not to mention the increased surveillance at the US ports that can cause several weeks delays. Many times once product is shipped from a foreign port it can be days or even weeks before a US receiver is notified. It really depends on who you are working with, and the quality of the freight forwarder in the shipping country. I understand SNS not wanting to give dates... for one, they don't have them, and secondly, once they get dates, there is a huge amount of variability that surrounds those dates. They don't want to disappoint us... Sometimes it is better to wait until you have firmer dates. I've had shipments stuck in customs for 3 weeks! Once released, we'll have definite delivery times. And then we can get TOTALLY excited!
