Um, my dear
Kiki, I haven't done Circuit Blast in a while but if my memory serves me correctly there is no ab work in this one and you did not mention adding any on to it!

What do you have to say for yourself young lady!?

I was checking the forum on my phone right before I left work yesterday and I absolutely cracked up at the above exchange. At that exact moment, the judge walked into my office and looked at me like I was nuts (which honestly happens more often than you'd expect).
Thanks sooooo much everyone for the bday wishes!! I'm enjoying a very low key day at the house - finished a new book, watched the special features on the new Harry Potter movie DVD, voted (it's primary election day in KY), made a FABULOUS lunch, and am now watching Sex and the City while I play on the forums.

My sister and I might go see a movie this evening and then she is making me dinner tonight. My DH won't be home until almost 9:00 pm tonight, which stinks, but he texted me a few minutes ago to let me know he is bringing me a sinfully delicious chocolate cupcake with cream cheese icing from my favorite bakery.

All in all not a bad day!
Wendy: Silly question...but what are lifting hooks?? Way to bang out Disc 23! I love those days when you feel fantastic, strong, and powerful!

I noticed you mentioned you live in NJ. Have you ever been to Cathe's gym? My DH and I are considering a NYC/New England trip in the next year or two. I figured if I was in the area i'd have to try to go to one of Cathe's classes!
Kiki: How is your knee feeling? Still causing any problems? Great job working those abs (and keeping your skin - haha)

Sorry to hear about your stomach cramps/TOM. Yucko!
Tracy: Welcome back! I'm glad to hear you had a great time at your dad's house. Great job fitting in your workouts. I always struggle to workout when i'm away/out of my normal routine. Have you tried out any of your new DVDs yet?!?! You've got some good ones there. Ab Circuits rocks - I love the yoga-based and pilates-based because they are slower and more controlled than some of Cathe's other abs routines.
Autumn: Feel better soon!!! Roto rooter - hahaha! What a great description! So, it sounds like i'm like you and Kiki - very quiet when I first meet new people but then, once I mellow out, I talk non-stop. If we all end up meeting one day at a road trip or something I hope Wendy or Tracy are talkers. Otherwise we'd all stand around to shy to talk!
LaDonna: Come back soon!
Well, I suffered through Intensity + Ab Circuits: Yoga-Based Abs this morning. I have a love-hate relationship with Itensity. For me, it's a toss up between Itensity and CC as Cathe's hardest Cardio workouts. BUT, it's done and i'm happy!
ETA: As I'm sure i've mentioned, my DH has started lifting again. So far, it has been rather sporadic because of his busy schedule, but he is starting to get into a semi-sorta routine. Anyway, on the way home yesterday, he started asking me if I wanted him to "pump me up" so that I could start entering fitness competitions (which is a completely ridiculous idea because i'm
no where near in that good of shape). He then proceeds to start trying to pick out my competition name. After several suggestions, he decided my name should be "Judgment Day" - ya know, because of the whole law thing. i'm thinking about changing my forum name.
