STS NEW YEAR'S CHALLENGERS...WEEK OF MAY 15!

kiki: I have to say your DH must be a very brave man to rub your tummy at TTOM as if you were preggo...for some women it might be possible he would pull back a bloody stump ;).

wendy and kiki: I also do not have piped in AC in my workout room, since it is in the garage...however I do have a portable AC maker thing that they have at Costco...it pumps out some pretty cold air...since here in CA it can get 110 in summer. However, during the summer I will try to do my WO's in the early morning when it is only 80 degrees  that being said, I am not good at getting up early for anything.

wendy: glad you get to get away soon. I live surrounded by vineyards and winetasting places. We just had a festival a few weeks ago downtown.

ricklyk1: what are you doing for your active recover week?

Today I finished STS Mesocycle 1 with Legs #12...I am so glad and feel like I 've accomplished something. This is kind of dumb...but I also made and had my first post-weight lifting protein fitness shake. I am seriously on the road to fitness now!!!

Have a great weekend ladies...blessings to you all

Good Morning.

My work out is done for the day! Feels great!

D24, HiiT hi + lo from Intensity and standing oblique work all done by 8:15am!

I'm ready to roll now...just sipping coffee while I wait to head to my 9:30 hair appt. I want to look my best for the rapture!;) Rest of my day includes the usual food shopping, cleaning, laundry etc. Hoping to squeeze in a visit to the park with my son cause the weather is simply gorgeous out there! :D

Okay, well I'll be back at some point later to catch up on personals.

TTFN!

Hi all!! Well...I have lost 4# since I started STS..it is official. I stepped on the scale today..which I hate to do. I finally broke through the plateau that I just could not break through after losing my initial 15#. I am so excited!

Today I did 4.25 mi. on TM and just because I am not supposed to do weights next week ...I got in one more upper body workout for good measure. Muscle Max UB only.

Next week will be the first time in 7 1/2 months that I have not lifted weights. I think it will be a good thing. It's time.

Fit mommy: I hope your hair appt went well. It took me such a long time to find a hair gal that I like . It was 4 1/2 years after I moved here...

great weekend everyone!

Good Morning.

So me, DS and DH went out to Friendly's last night for ice cream. It was MY suggestion-what was I thinking!?!?:p DH and I split some 3 scoop chocolate brownie sundae that was really good but OMG the WW points! OY! When I got up and weighed myself this morning I expected to be up a bit from that but I wasn't so yay! :D Going to be doing an extra long cardio today to make up for it too! ;)

Tracy:: WTG on the weight loss. That's fantastic! :) I have struggled with my hair for years and when I first moved to the area I am in now I used I went the cheapest quick route I could find for haircuts cause my hair didn't have a style. It was long and all one length and in a ponytail most of the time. I've been here for 8 years and my hair stayed like that until only maybe 2 years ago! I used to get perms back in the day and liked them (but got sick of them after 7 years!!!) so I had stopped getting them and that's when the "no style" look came into effect. Anyway, I took a chance and got one again a couple years ago and that's where my "hair happiness" officially began and it's only gotten better! After about a year I gave up the perms, invested in some good hair products and have been very happy with a straight STYLE ever since!:D FINALLY!

Okay, time to get my sweat on! BBL!

fit mommy: I used to go the cheapest and quickest route too, having four kids, I just felt it was one more thing to do. But now that I am older (and only two kids in house now), in my forties, I just realized I have to try a lot harder. I am also letting my hair grow out because that is what my DH likes, and really, I do too. It is an expensive proposition here. Don't know about you. But I get my hair done with low and high lights every 6-7 wks and it is 115 bucks a pop, but she does a good job.

No workout today!! Sunday is my rest day. Next week is active recovery.
