STS first time!

Hiho. Work was crazy, a precursor to when the bitter cold gets here. Today I took three calls for proactive non-emergency replacement of water heaters. Thankfully it wasn't emergency scenarios.

Mary, so happy you have the week off. I hope youngest dd doesn't get it!

We had Dh's aunt and our nieces over last night. The 13 and 14yo girls. The younger one slept over. We all played Head's Up. It's like charades. I made Tony's grandma's cream cheese banana bread. It was so good! I think we all are too much.

I did RwH Lift it HiiT Legs. LOVE!!!!! 40m of weights alternated with cardio bursts. I had to keep pausing though because anything heavier than 15 I have to use my dumbbells where I add plates to the handles. I wrote everything down though so hopefully that will be better for next time.

We are watching my 8yo nephew today so him, my niece and b are playing. Taking advantage of some phone time :)

Carolyn Oh no hope he doesn't get to close to anyone. That's the hard part about being sick. I've felt good enough to go to work but I never want to get others sick, but in my profession it's really not a good idea to go in sick with the patients and all. Hope your knee feels better. No plans for New Year's for us except for family time on the couch. I've always just liked to relax on that holiday especially after the Christmas extravaganza.

Betty Hope work is a little slower today. Of course that makes for a long day.

Mary That darn stomach bug. I feel for you. It traveled through my family during Thanksgiving. Feel better soon!
 
Hiya! I worked till 1 (work was pretty calm since it's not the plumbing place with the never-ending ringing phones) then took my boys to Thai lunch, then ds2 had piano, ran to poultry place for local eggs, then ortho checkup, and finally, Trader Joe's. Home now on the couch, laundry going, checking in with y'all.

Carolyn, what on earth?? It might be a hip misalignment?
I hope your family is improving. Just stinks! It's best they don't miss any school though. I remember a year ago dh had some bug. He was in so much stomach pain.

Marie, what a great description of that legs workout. I will do it in the morning!
B must be loving playing with cousins! I love old-fashioned non-electronic board games!

I'm so excited for Parenthood to return. I feel like shows didn't take breaks like this before.

Chilling on the couch with dh. B just called us into his room because "I have boogers."

Found out my sister is having another girl :) So I'm getting another niece :)

The bread is oh so good...best banana bread ever!

Good morning....yesterday I was so busy due to end of year....I got everything late yesterday....now I'm off till friday....yeah another 2 days off....I sure need it! Last night Tim had to go back to auto part store to return his cores....so he could get his $66 back....so we went to this new mexican restaurant. ....it was very good.... but mexican food is not scale friendly!

This morning I started the new dvds.... I'm pumped.... did lift it hiit it legs.....loved it....my legs were trembling. ..oh yeah!!!! Loved it....

Carolyn....I'm will betty....hip misaligned can cause bad knee pain....I know...because when mine hurts bad...its normally my hips....not always....but most of the time....hope everyone is feeling better!

Mary...yall too....hope the bug is gone!!!

I'm still coughing junk up....I don't thinkits ever gonna leave....but I ccan't wait any longer....my workouts are calling....lol

No plans for new years. ...I like to stay home and rest!

Today....I have a few errands to run...then I want to be home by lunchtime so I can watch y&r!!! Hehehehehe

Good job on the workout Missy. That one rules. I'm definitely feeling it today :) Yum! I love Mexican food. At one of our several family Christmas celebrations we were talking about what our last meal would be if we had to pick. I know, weird conversion but more odd things have come up with my family haha. Anyways I picked Mexican...specially refried beans, chips and guac :) and his family's homemade cheese and onion enchiladas. That side of the family is Mexican. Dh is half. They always joke that I ended up with the right person since I love Mexican food so much. But yes, not very figure friendly.

I'm thinking today is a rest day. Dh is sleeping in and b and I are just hanging out :) Sipping coffee or "toffee" as b calls it :)

Jean I love big dogs too. I told dh it's like having a mini horse around. I like small dogs too. My nieces and stepsister both have Chihuahuas. Your dinner sounds so good. I love all that kind of food. We are thinking seafood tonight. Dh can cook up some mad shrimp :) I as well am not a huge talker in crowds. I always have things to say but can't get a word in because I let everyone else speak first. I'm more of a one-on-one girl.

Well I ended up doing a mini workout. TBT Upper Body Express which was 19m and then RwH Abs 2.

I have my annual appt at 4. I see a nurse practitioner. We haven't started trying yet but I'm hoping my next dr appointment will be to confirm I'm pregnant :):):)
 
Hi all, I got in my work hours today, till 2:30.
In the dark this morning, I was flipping through my RWH box for my Legs dvd but couldn't find it! I was baffled because I never took anything else out but UB Circuit last week (I just grabbed from the back of the box.) Then I'm wondering, geez was there a dvd missing all along?? Because I have an empty slot! Last week I didn't flip through. I had no time to look because I was on a tight schedule. I subbed LL&A with barre. (So, bummer, Missy, or I would have done the same workout!). After my workout, I looked more closely. I was looking at the big-letter titles, but "Legs" is actually displayed below Lift It Hiit It, so it was there all along:-/. I guess I will do it Monday. I must try one of the other ones.
Walking home from work, my neighbor pulled in to her driveway right when I was passing, so she asked me for tea, so we caught up for an hour. I'm now in my robe, sipping hot tea. Laundry is going.
My house is soooo humid right now because my guys decided to make ramen from scratch, so the stock pot has been going since I was exercising this morning.

Marie, that is one huge dog!

Jean, that would be Broadchurch. Where do you get your intel from? I can't imagine either.
I am still plowing through The Paradise.

Jean, I've never heard of that--pickle juice. Last time I had a massive charley horse, I could have used some. I never have any on hand.

We will pull out the sparkling juice later to toast. Right now we are stuffed.
 
Don't feel bad Carolyn....we stay home too....I'd rather be at home than in a group of people.....I'm just not very social.....
