Well, today I suffered through Imax 3. It was
rough...the last few weeks have been hard on my cardio capacity. After the 4th blast I got overheated, extremely nauseated, and slightly dizzy. Part of it was the heat (I forgot to crank the AC prior to starting my w/o) and part of it was my failure to properly hydrate before starting the w/o. Sadly the nausea stayed with me so I had to lower the intensity quite a bit for the rest of the w/o. I actually stuck my head in the freezer a few times to cool off.

After I finished Imax 3 (and laid on the floor for 5 minutes attempting to catch my breath), I did abs + stretch max. Both felt great! I'm pretty sore from this past week's STS w/o and SM was just the ticket I needed.
I really enjoyed reading all of ya'lls animal stories! It's nice to know my silly cat isn't the only one who likes to hang around during workouts.
Autumn: YAY I'm so glad you're still going to check-in with us! I hope you made it home safe. I can't wait to hear all your thoughts about the RT too!! That's so great that you were able to pick Cathe's brain about your workout routine. What a gem.

If you get a spare second you should DEFINITELY change your avatar to the picture of you, Cathe, and your lil' Diva. I bet it's fabulous!
Kiki: I LOVE LOVE LOVE your avatar! Gorgeous!

Thanks sooooo much for all your insights about the RT. They have been extremely helpful. I know I have a whole another year before I have to decide about going on a RT, but because my DH and I are considering some family changes I have to start planning now if i'm going to attend a RT next summer (which is why i'm asking a thousand questions). Is the bulldog fiasco still going on? I have to admit I laughed a tinie tiny bit at your post.

I feel your pain though. I dog sit for my parents a couple of times a year and, though I love their dogs, they tend to chase my cats, pee on everything, and cause general chaos. Not cool!
Wendy: You're workout from yesterday sounds awesome, and extremely tough! Way to go!

I'm glad you're enjoying your new Boss Timer. I've thought about getting one of those too (for running sprints...if I ever decide to start running again) and it's great to hear a good review from another Cathelete!
Kris: I love the SM band w/o too! I actually did it today because you mentioned it! Thanks for that!

Great job with the LIC premix! That's a fun one. I hope Disc 13 goes well for you today! I know I was bitting at the chomp to get back to weights too after both of my rest weeks. Get ready to kick some butt in Meso 2!

I found Ellen Barrett on fittv too! If you've got Netflix, there are several Crunch workouts featuring Ellen that you can watch instantly. They are similar to the w/os she had on fittv and I really enjoy them one I need an easier day.
Bridget: Disc 9 is definitely a tough one!! Almost everyone says it's the toughest leg workout in Meso 1 (and I completely agree). I always did the bonus leg sections. In general most of the bonus segments involved floor work which I tend to enjoy. But if you're short on time, no worries! You're still getting a fantastic leg workout even without the bonus sections.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
