Stretch Max is a 60 minute program that consists of three 20 minute stretching segments. The stretches you will see are a hybrid of basic, athletic-based, yoga-based, and gymnastic-based. Feel free to do any or all of the segments as often as you like. For best results and to enhance your flexibility, it is recommended that you do at least one of the segments 3 times per week. Also note that you should be completely warmed up before participating in the segments. I personally like to stretch after a minimum of a 20 minute cardio. That is when I find my muscles completely pliable and open to elasticity gains.

Each segment focuses on stretching all of the major muscle groups in the body. Segment one does this without any equipment, while segment 2 uses a stability ball and segment 3 uses a resistance band. The overall atmosphere on the workouts is calm and peaceful with very little talking once in the stretch.

Music is provided by Music Flex.

Thank you so much Cathe for this workout. I currently do not have any stretching workouts so this one will definitely come in handy! I like that there are short segments too...:)

Thank you so much for putting out this particular DVD. I love attending a yoga class at my gym, but this will be wonderful for the days I don't get there. Your DVDs are head and shoulders above the others in terms of quality and your warmth and professionalism never get old. Thanks again.

This is one of the workouts that I'm most looking forward to getting. I'm hoping to use it to help me incorporate some sort of stretching or yoga into my routine everyday. Thanks, Cathe, for including it in the series.

Since you had mentioned that the new DVD's would have premixes " where they make sense" (or something to that effect ;-) ), I'd like to suggest an " upper body" premix and a " lower body" premix for the Stretch max DVD. Each about 15 minutes long, and combing exercises from each of the three sections. That would be a great option for after one of the grueling weight workouts>
 
For some reason this is the dvd I am most excited about! I am not a yoga person, but I do love stretching. This sounds perfect!! I second the pre mix idea :D
 
This will be an excellent addition to all your other workouts. I don't have a stretch workout. I really like that there are three types of stretch workouts from which to choose.
