I have many of Cathe's full body workout videos (Cathe is simply the best there is for advanced home exercise) such as bootcamp, terminator, drill max, low impact circuit and also have many of her pure cardio dvd's...I want to start trying to increase my muscle strength without going to the gym and so I just purchased the upper and lower body pyramid dvd. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to rotate this dvd into a workout week? I was thinking if I did 45 minutes of cardio and then either upper or lower pyramid on the same day and then every 3rd day be pure cardio. I generally work out 5 days a week... any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!
 
I'm not sure I'd do the cardio and the Pyramid workout on the same day unless you chose one of the shorter premixes for the pyramids.

Here's an idea...

-a cardio/lower body premix (I think Drill Max has one??)
-PUB
-pure cardio
-PLB
-LIC cardio/upper body circuit

There are other ways using the shorter Pyramid premixes to do strength/cardio on the same day. There's also a total body premix on the pyramids, you could do that once or twice a week as well in another rotation.
 
Here's what I've done in the past:

Day 1: PUB
Day 2: cardio
Day 3: 1/2 hour cardio plus PLB standing stuff only (I hate floor work)
Day 4: off
Day 5: total body weight workout or circuit
Day 6: cardio
Day 7: off
 
I really don't see what is wromg with doing PUB and cardio on the same day, as long as the cardio is not completely exhausting or an interval one:

day 1: cardio (from CTX for example, or from 4 DS) + PUB
day 2: interval cardio or any tough cardio
day 3: PLB
day 4: off
day 5: interval cardio or tough cardio
day 6: cardio (from CTX or 4DS) + PUB
day 7: off

I would and have done this type of rotation with no ill effects. It all depends on what you are used to.

I like this rotation, since it includes 4 days of cardio... I think I'll give it a try!

Or how's about:

Day 1: Cardio and PLB Pyramid Up premix; PUB abs
Day 2: Cardio and PUB Pyramid Down premix
Day 3: Cardio; Boot Camp core only premix
Day 4: OFF
Day 5: Cardio and PLB Pyramid Down premix; LIC abs/core
Day 6: cardio and PUB Pyramid Up premix
Day 7: OFF

I just want to add a thank you to everyone who has responded... I am waiting for the pyramid dvd to arrive on my doorstep--any day now, lol, you know what it is like! Actually I'm in a 'Terminator' stupor at the moment and can wait for now, "need water" lol...

LIC is Low Impact Circuit, it came out along with Boot Camp 2 in the filming completed just before 4DS. Ring any bells?!?!?!

A-Jock's idea looks good too: I would do hers one week and mine the next, for a little variety, ya know?
