Strength in Numbers

Pam Great job on doing Tabatacise after dropping off Pixel! That is a lot of driving. I do not enjoy driving and that would wear me out.

Cheryl Great job on LITE SSUB! That's great you are close to opening up the SPCA again after all that construction!

This morning I was exhausted when my alarm went off and decided with being so tired and my body kind of achy, I needed to take a rest day and sleep in. I set my alarm to go off about 3 hours later and I was still not ready to get up but I had to go to work.

Have a great day!

Julie Good for you in listening to your body and taking a day off. Hopefully you are feeling more energized tomorrow.

This morning was PRS #1. I will be going out to my mom's soon to take her out.

Have a great day.

Cheryl

Cheryl Great job on SSUB! That is great news that they’ve finished the construction at the SPCA and you will be getting some cats and kittens in!

Julie Good for you listening to your body and getting the extra sleep that you were needing. It sounds like you could still use some more too!

Cheryl Great job on PRS 1. Enjoy your time with your mom!

It was a beautiful day today so DH and I went for a bike ride. Part of the path was closed so we had to take a detour on the road for awhile which added some extra hills that weren’t too much fun, Other than that it was good though. Our daffodils are blooming and so are the cherry trees! Spring is almost here! I forgot to mention the other day that we got the results from Squeaky’s biopsy’s and she does have IBD. She will be on steroids for about 6 months and prescription food for the rest of her life. Now we have to figure out how to feed the two cats separately since they are on different prescription foods. Have a great day!

Pam

Cheryl Great job on PRS1! Hope you had a great day with your mom!

Pam Great job on your bike ride with DH! Oh no surprise hills are no fun. Wow that is amazing there are things already blooming. We won't see that for another month or more. Poor Squeaky but at least you have an answer and a plan now.

This morning I was feeling a little better energy-wise so I did a heavy upper body workout with some core and a bike ride in Maui. I'm still ready for the weekend and getting some more sleep. 32 days till the first day of Spring.

Have a great weekend!

Julie I was happy to have a firm diagnosis for Squeaky and know that it’s treatable/manageable, The problem now is no more treats. I had been giving them to her after taking her pills, but he said nothing but the prescription food. She begs for them constantly and anytime I go near the room where they are she comes running. Hopefully she’ll like the new food and will get used to the new routine quickly. I’m glad you had more energy this morning and hopefully will get even more over the weekend. Great job on your heavy upper body workout, core, and bike ride! Spring is going to be here before we know it!

This morning was X52 and the abs from Step, jump, and pump. It was hard but I pushed through. One of my Christmas presents was 3 massages, so I’m having the first one today. It’s going to feel good after yesterday’s bike ride and today‘s X10! Have a great day!

Pam

This morning was Xtrain Bis and Tris. I had a nice lunch with some girlfriends to celebrate one of my friends Birthday. Sloane and Cameron left this afternoon for a 2 week trial. Poor things were so scared . I hope it goes well! Have a great day!

Pam

Pam Great job on your bike ride. Extra hills are not fun but you made it. We do have some crocuses starting to come up here but the cherry blossoms probably not till next month. I am glad that you finally have a diagnosis for Squeaky. It is tricky to feed multiple cats on different foods but doable. I know you will figure something out.

Julie Glad you are feeling better energy wise. Good job on your heavy upper body workout and core and bike ride in Maui. Yes we are getting closer to spring, bring on the count down.

Pam Great job on X52 and the abs from SJP. Enjoy your massage. Good work on XTrain Bis and Tris. Glad you enjoyed your lunch with friends to celebrate a birthday. I hope things go well for Sloane and Cameron.

Thursday I did LITE Stacked Sets Lower. Then I managed to get all the housework done before I went to the SPCA. We got 1 mouse, 2 guinea pigs and 9 kittens. It was a busy day. This morning I was really tired so I didn't workout. I did do laundry and went for a bit of a walk in the afternoon.

Have a great day.

Cheryl

Pam Great job on X52 plus SJP abs! Hope you enjoyed your massage, that is an awesome Christmas gift! Fingers crossed Squeaky will like the new prescription food. Great job on XT BT! Oh poor babies, I hope they get over their fear and fit in the new home so it is permanent.

Cheryl Great job on LITE SSLB! Wow you had a busy day getting a workout in, housework, and working at SPCA. You earned that rest day.

Thursday night Cam started acting weird. He did slow circles always to the right and would just stand and stare off at nothing. We took him to the vet Friday and the vet thinks he might have an inner ear infection but can't rule out a progression of a possible brain tumor or degenerative disease. He sent us home with a steroid and ear ointment. He was doing ok until Sunday and he has started having balance issues and even got stuck behind our couch between the couch and the wall. DH is scared we are going to have to let him go. Friday I did do a heavy lower body workout and a hike at Lake Tahoe before we went. Saturday I did some lower body mobility and work on my head and forearm stands. Sunday was my rest day and this morning I did a lower body heavy weight workout and some more forearm and headstand work.

Have a great day!

Cheryl Great job on SSL,your housework, and your shift at the SPCA. That is a lot of animals to get in all at once! No wonder you were tired, but you are so good about getting your walks in!

Julie Oh no, I hope everything is OK with Cam and it is just an inner ear infection. It’s so hard when they are having problems. Poor guy. Great job on your heavy lower body workout, hike, lower body mobility work, head and forearm stands and your heavy lower body workout.

Saturday was Cardio Leg Blast and Sunday was my rest day. I’ve been on a de-cluttering mission, so have been cleaning out all of the kitchen drawers and cabinets. We have someone coming to stay and watch the house and the cats while we are traveling for most of March, so I also got rid of a bunch of stuff from the guest room so that she’ll have dresser and closet space. We had so much stuff that we just stuck in there and forgot about. It’s supposed to be in the 70’s today and into the 80’s by Wednesday, so I’m thinking I may need to get some yard work done this week. Have a great day!

Pam

Pam Great job on CLB! Wow you are on quite the organizing spree. I bet it feels great getting it done.

So yesterday was not a good day. Cam kept getting worse and worse and the vet said to bring him in that afternoon. When we got there, the vet was shocked how much worse he has gotten since he saw him on Friday. We ended up having to say goodbye to him because it was most likely a tumor and not an ear infection like we thought. He said there was nothing they could do. We couldn't watch him suffer anymore. They brought us in a box that had treats, peanut butter, spray cheese, and Hershey kisses. He ate a couple kisses and some peanut butter. We held him and told him we loved him as he left us. It was super hard getting up to work out this morning but I did a heavy upper body workout and some core work. It wasn't my strongest day but I tried to do something to take my mind of missing Cam for a little while.

Have a great day!

Julie Oh Julie, I am so sorry, my heart is broken for you. I know how much you love those babies, he was so lucky that you gave him such a great home. You did the best thing for him, even though it is so hard. Great job getting in your heavy upper body and core work and taking your mind off the pain for a little while. I know your other dogs will be getting lots of extra cuddles.

This morning was IMAX 4 and bonus abs 2. It seemed really hard today, but I made it though. Have a great day!

Pam

Pam Great job on Imax 4 plus bonus abs 2 and getting through it. Ruby and Gunner are getting spoiled like crazy.

This morning I was exhausted. My alarm went off when I was in deep sleep and I think I have been dehydrated the last few days. That along with the cold and rain, I decided just to go back to bed for a little while. I could still be sleeping but I had to go to work. 26 more days to Spring and I really hope that helps turn my energy around.

Have a great day!

Julie I’m sure the stress of the last several days added to your exhaustion. You did the right thing going back to sleep, too bad you couldn’t sleep as long as you wanted to!

This morning was Perfect pump lower+upper+extended stretch. I’m meeting some friends for lunch and then we are going to a little boutique where my friend has a styling appointment. We had given her a gift certificate for her birthday last week so we are going to help her use It today. Have a great day!

Pam

Pam Great job on PP LB+UB+ES! That is great you get to help your friend use her gift certificate. I definitely am feeling like I need a vacation so I can sleep and sleep but I am hoping that as we get to Spring, maybe I will start feeling more energized.

This morning I was able to get up and did a heavy upper body workout with some core work and a bike ride in Maui! I'm really looking forward to the weekend. Again hoping for catching up on my sleep. We are supposed to have no rain so that will be nice.

Have a great day!

Julie Great jo on your heavy upper body, core work, and bike ride in Maui! I hope you are able to get some good sleep this weekend!

The shopping trip yesterday was really fun. The two young ladies who worked in the store were so nice and kept bringing us things to try on and we all got a few things. This morning was X54 which is the step, LI, and fa—burning circuit. I was pretty spent after the step but I plodded on. I did skip the zombie dragging with push ups. I know she calls them something different, but that’s what I call them! It’s going to be over 80 degrees here today, so I need to get myself outside before it cools off again this weekend. Have a great day!

Pam

I have had a very busy week and this is the first time I have had a chance to sit at the computer. Julie I am sorry to hear about Cam. You gave him a great home and did the best thing for him even though it was hard. Pam you are so lucky to be getting nice weather. It is cold here and we are supposed to get snow Saturday night. So I did workout Saturday and Sunday but I can't remember what they were now. Monday night our friend was coming over after work to replace a toilet for us. It wasn't very old but there were cracks developing so we didn't want to take any chances with it leaking water. So I drained the toilet and also got things moved in the basement into my workout room because we needed a florescent light replaced. So we managed to get the old toilet out but when we tried to install the new one we broke a flange. So we couldn't go any further with that. We did manage to replace the light in the basement and by the time that was done it was late and we were starving, so we went out for dinner. Tuesday was even busier. Because my workout room was still filled with stuff I couldn't use it so I did a bit of a hike that took about 1 1/2 hours. Then right after that DH had a dentist appointment so we went there and after that we had to go to Home Depot to pick up stuff to fix the toilet. Then on the way home we stopped to get groceries. Just after we got home our friend came over and we finally got the toilet finished. Then I had to get a lot of things cleaned up. Wednesday morning I needed to take Zoey for a walk in the morning because she was refusing to get out of bed before our friend had to leave for work. So a power walk with Zoey was my workout. Right after I got back I needed to go out to my mom's to take her out. We got a lot done and stopped at the casino where I won $135 which I was very happy about. After I got back out friend came over again to install a new light in the dining room which finally came. This morning I didn't workout because I wanted to get the housework done and we needed to go to the garbage dump to get rid of the old toilet and light. We even managed to clean out the hall closet this afternoon too. Whew that was a long post and I am so happy to get back to normal.

Have a great day.

Cheryl

Cheryl Wow, you did have quite the week! Great job on your mystery workouts last weekend. I’m glad you were able to get your toilet replaced without too much delay and your lights upl Great job on your hike and your power walk and congratulations on your win at the Casino! You sure got a lot done this week!

I was thinking DH and I would go for a bike ride today, but he is playing golf. I decided I didn’t want to go by myself so I did Cardio Kicks. Have a great day!

Pam

Pam Great job on Cardio Kicks. It is always nicer to go for a bike ride with someone else.

I forgot to mention that our garage door decided to stop working yesterday too. Everything seems to be happening all at once. This morning I did ICE Metabolic Total Body. Now I am getting the laundry done and I am hoping to go for a walk this afternoon. It is nice and sunny out but it is only around freezing. It will be very refreshing outside.

Have a great day.

Cheryl

Pam Great job on X54! Those zombie dragging pushups are tough. That sounds like wonderful weather. Great job on CK!

Cheryl Wow you had a very busy week! Great job on you mystery workouts, hike, and power walk with Zoey. Good call replacing the toilet before it went bad. That is so great you have a neighbor that helps with handyman things. That is awesome about the Casino win. Great job on ICE MTB! Hopefully it will start to warm up soon. Just 21 days till Spring!

Friday I did a heavy lower body workout and a hike around Lake Tahoe. Then I had to jump on the computer for some work so I didn't get anything done. Saturday I did a mobility work and worked on my head and forearm stands. After that I got a few things done around the house and then DH and I took Gunny and Ruby to Petsmart. Gunny was awesome and just sniffed everything but Ruby was being a little crazy and barking at the other dogs so we didn't stay long. Sunday was my lazy day and this morning I did a heavy lower body workout. I was supposed to also do some more forearm and headstand work but I was really on the struggle bus. Not a good way to start the week out.

Have a great day!

Cheryl When it rains, it pours, huh? Have you been able to get your garage door fixed yet? Great job on ICE MTB. I hope you were able to get your refreshing walk in!

Julie Great job on your heavy lower body workout and hike, It’s too bad that you ended up having to spend the day working. Great job on your mobility work and head and forearm stands And your heavy lower body workout on Monday. Some days are just harder than others!

Saturday I did STS Total Body trisets and my chest is STILL sore from that. Sunday was my rest day and this morning was Strong and Sweaty Bootcamp. I did a pre-mix that repeats 3 of the rounds to make it an hour and it about took me out! Friday was a pretty exciting day for Kiki. I don’t know if you have heard of Mr Beast, but he’s a You-Tuber with over 130 million followers. He and his fiancee applied to adopt Kiki and His fiancee came and picked her up Friday afternoon for a trial. When I called them he said that Kiki is the only thing his girlfriend has been talking about . The funny thing is that their application got rejected at first because they live and hour and half away and they said their current cat is indoor/outdoor and that Kiki would be too. It turns out the outdoor part is a big catio. The best part is that if they finalize the adoption they are going to donate $10,000 to the rescue!! That is a fortune for us! So we all have our fingers crossed that the two cats get along! Pixel is leaving today for a trial too, so my cat room will be empty for awhile. We are leaving Friday to go to Jordan and Egypt for 3 weeks so the timing worked out perfectly. They were both going to go to another foster but now hopefully they will just be adopted and won’t need to. Have a great day!
