We've just posted a video clip of Cathe's Step N Motion 1 video which was her first solo lead video and was released a little over 20 years ago. This video is now available from our download store.

Cathe was only 24 when she made this advanced step workout which became the #1 selling step video in 1989 and launched her career. The outfits and video set are funny to look at today as is a very young Cathe. The Cathletes that have been with us since the beginning will enjoy the memories and newer Cathletes can finally see what Cathe's first video was like.
 
I have that on VHS! I haven't done that video in years, I might have to pull it out this week.

That was fun!

As soon as I cash in the money in the couch, I will be downloading it! Ms. Cathe was very pretty (not that she isn't just as pretty now.) I sure wish I could tan like that. It looks like a great workout.
 
Like, OMG!!!! I could get a good ab workout from the giggles. Woo-hoo!!! I may have to download this one. Lovin' ol' boy in the white shorts, too:p Ah, the late 80s!!!!

I think I prefer my new Cathe!! I bet its still a good workout, though. I have the Classics and the Greatest as well, and she is even perkier in this one. Those are good workouts as well, once you get over the 80s mall look.

Cathe looks extra skinny in this, I like her with more muscle.

I wish I'd known about Cathe back then, and maybe my step bench wouldn't have been collecting dust for 20 years. The only step videos I had ever found were boring and not at all challenging. She knew what she was doing then, and she's still got it!! I don't know how its even possible, but each new series is more fun, exciting, & challenging than the last.
 
Cathe looks great as an 80's gal. That year my son was born(1989), and 1990 was the first time I joined a gym(Nautilas). By 1993 I tried Step Aerobics at work taught by a guy, so Cathe had been filming already for 4 years when I started! Wow!

Cathe kind of looks like Winnie on the show called Wonder Years!

Real funny to watch this ball of energy yelling "wooooo!" a lot!:D
 
I don't know how it's possible that Cathe looks more gorgeous now, twenty years later, but she does. The video looks like fun- and I'm not a stepper! Thank god no one wears that kind of workout gear anymore - butt floss just looks so uncomfortable!
 
I really love the hair! I was just starting to workout seriously then!

How can Cathe look so fantastic back then and even better now? I'm just going downhill! It's just not fair!
 
What a great clip! Cathe looks so dang cute, and you could see from the beginning that she just has a gift for instructing. Her form was perfect even then!

My oldest Cathe workouts are those on the Classics DVD but I just have to order this one. I wonder (hope) if they'll release a download of the Wedding video or of Mega Step Blast? I've heard of those, but I've never seen them...

This clip just makes me smile! I think I'm going to watch it again!
 
I have this video! I bought it years ago during the VHS sale. I got Mega Step Blast and Wedding Workout with it. I also have SNM II and III. They're classics!

Oooooh, I am going to treat myself today with this and do it when I get home from work.

This will for sure get me out of my winter blues funk and some raised eyebrows from my husband, lol.

Isn't technology grand!
 
I don't have this one either and I have two classic DVD's. She looks so cute! I love the workout, it looks like so much fun. I don't think my knees could handle two risers anymore, though.

She was so way ahead of her time. She is truly gifted.
