Step Heat (person is missing)

Has anyone noticed in Step Heat that during the warm up there are 6 people, then when it came to doing the stepping, there were only 5?

The person who is missing, is on the far left side of the screen. She has short dark hair, very slim, and energetic.

Does anyone know what the story is here? Why didn't she finish the video with everyone else?

I'm so curious about what happened. I can only speculate, and it is getting out of hand.

Seriously?? I've done that workout a handful of times, and have to admit that I've never noticed that before. Now I want to go watch it, just to see what you're talking about. Very curious!!!

I am sitting here laughing. I have done that video many times although years ago and I never even noticed that!!! Cedie moved over to the left and the other girl was gone. I don't know who she is but I remember her being in Mega Stepblast (I think that's the one)...:)...Carole
 
I'm not sure if it was this workout or not, but I know that one of the background exercisers actually got ill, and subsequently died, during the filming of one of the workouts. I think (?) she had some kind of congenital heart problem, perhaps?

Again, maybe that wasn't this workout.

Are you sure it didn't happen to one of Cathe's crew as well? I've never been into Christi Taylor, so didn't hear about her background exerciser. I guess Cathe will have to clear it up for us.
 
Kathryn, that would seem like a weird coincidence! It definitely happened to one of Christi's crew members. The video it happened in is dedicated to that woman. So sad.

Over in the Ask Cathe forum, someone posted that the missing person only did the warmup and cooldown because she was pregnant.

I remember this coming up a long time ago and I think Cathe said the gal was pregnant so only participated in the warm-up.

I don't know why I thought that happened in a Cathe workout? Maybe because when I first started Cathe, I felt like I was going to die? LOl!
 
The situation in the Christi video happened during the filming of Hi/Lo Happy Hour, and the person involved became ill during the filming, was taken to the hospital, where is was discovered she had a major heart ailment. She passed away shortly after the filming wrapped, and Christi dedicated her next series, The Heavenlies, to her. Very sad, she was a dear friend of Christi and also left behind a husband and a child.
I apologize if I have gotten any of the details wrong, I know there is a much better description of the tragedy on Christi's web site, but I think that is a summary of what occurred.
 
The mystery woman is Maria and she is still going strong! She was in a few of Cathe's older videos. She is alot of tthe CIA videos. She actually looks younger now than she did in Cathes videos of ten years ago. I think it might be her hair style.

I think she is a good back ground exerciser. I am pretty sure she was in Mega Step Blast - I thought she only did the WU and the CD in Step Heat because she just had a baby and was tired out. But when you see her she doesn't look like she just had a baby.
