It's clear you train harder not longer

I'm trying to use my heart rate monitor for all of my cardio workouts. I use it for spinning because the instructors incorporate it, but need a little self-discipline when I'm on my own like you obviously do. The threshold work really pays off when you start climbing doesn't it! Your results are impressive.

Hi Debbie

I know it sounds crazy but when I was checking into rehab for my hamstring, this was one of the suggestions by the sports medicine people. It helps to strengthen the hamstring and it actually feels good to do it. However, one does not go very far in this position as one looks silly and cannot see where they are going, so it is just for a few strides at a time. Hey, anything to help the healing process!

Maybe...

...you need a rearview mirror attached to your sunglasses!! I'm with you~Anything that helps the healing! I have used my stairstepper backwards before & it hits the hams good too. Good Luck with your healing. Glad you are on your way back. We got to get you ready for next years competition!
