Stablility ball from Power systems

Hi,
Has anyone ordered th 55cm stablity ball from Power systems?
If so did you order the pump as well? Since on there site they claim
you need this special pump with nozzle in order to pump the ball up,
Im wondering if it is at all possible to get a much cheaper pump
for this ball or perhaps are there any better options for acquiring
a ball with the dimensions Cathe used that isn't so costly but just as effective?
Please advise.

I don't know how much the pump you're looking at costs, but you can also find some small handpumps with different nozzles at your local Walmart in the sporting goods section. They don't have quite the snug fit of some of those that come with the balls themselves, but they work o.k.

Oh No!

I never saw on their website that you needed a SPECIAL pump for the balls. My hubby just ordered 2 balls yesterday for us. I will report back after we receive them. We have a pump already & I just assumed it would work. YIKES! (The balls were enough $$)

I bought mine at www.fitness1st.com. The sales person said you could pump it with a bicycle pump. DH blew it up with his mouth (he has lot of hot air!), then I blew up really tight with my kids' hand pump (we use the pump for their floaties -- got it at K-Mart for about $3.00). It seems to work for me.
