So Disappointed . . .

in myself! Athletic Training was awesome! But I had to stop at 12 minutes. Yes, 12 minutes, and catch my breath.

Before kids (2 under 3), I could do Maximum Intensity Cardio without stopping, but Athletic Training got me at 12 minutes! It was an amazing workout and gives me something to work towards.

On another note, Afterburn is my favorite and perfect for a working mom. I split it into 30-minute premixes and can get to the work fast. With limited time, it is wonderful to just get into the workout without pulling out equipment. It's the perfect workout for the working mom.

Also, I tried endust on my discs for Slide and Glide and had a blast. :)

Thanks, Cathe, for pushing me to keep trying. Athletic Training, I think, is the hardest workout I've ever done (and that includes Intensity). I will not be cheating on my diet today after the great accomplishment of finishing that workout!

As Cathe says, "some days are better than others.' plus, keep going cause you will improve slowly. I haven't done cardio in about 3 years due to MBA and to STS strength last year so I'm hitting it hard now. Every workout, I notice improvements not perfect but progression. Plus, don't be hard on yourself,

I don't like to think of it as much as taking a break as I do taking a sip of water when needed! (And as Cathe encourages us to do!)

AT is on my workout agenda for today and agree that first part is tough to get through. Who knew LI/HI could be so tough? Cathe knew, that's who!

Afterburn is a BEAST. Even Cathe is winded for much of it. "Stalling!!!!" LOL!

If you're doing some kind of rotation, just add this one in once a week, you'll get better at it in no time.

Let me start off by saying your baby picture is so beautiful. A boy or girl? How old is your baby now?

Having 2 children under 3 years old is a feat in itself if you ask me. I have an almost 3 year old and she is harder than any Cathe workout IMO. Kids tend to really drain you, and I understand how hard it is to find the time & energy to fit in at least 1 good workout/week. The fact that you are doing that & working, you should be very proud of yourself. AT is HARD no doubt. Catching your breath and grabbing a sip of water is not something you should be disappointed in. You WILL get better, but the workouts never get "easy", especially if you are crazy enough one day to match Cathe & crew, weight by weight, rep by rep. She is one strong lady!!!

Congrats & take care :)

I agree! It is such a killer. I feel like I need an oxygen mask at times and it's not just the 12 minute mark! Who knew low impact could be soooo "HIGH"!!!

Just keep at it and in no time, you will be able to get through the entire workout. Don't give up. Good luck!:)
