SNOW DAY tomorrow?!! Please-oh-please!

I live in Virginia and right now, you'd think I'm 8 years old, I am SOOOOO excited wishing for the snow to keep on piling up so work is called off tomorrow! They are calling for 6-10 inches, and I do beleive that if it's anything over 6", that'll do the trick.

I had a really stressful day yesterday, and as much as I enjoy the work I do, I just can't face going in tomorrow, I really need a day to re-group.

I want to stay home and drink hot chocolate!! Pray for snow!!!
 
I live in upstate NY and I am so hoping for NO SNOW. I don't want to plow the driveway again. I don't want to light the woodstove again and I don't want to shovel again. I am so praying that the snow misses us or is just a dusting. Plus I have places to go tomorrow.
 
I am happy that you are excited about snow - but I have had about enough of the white stuff!! We are looking at another foot after getting 2 feet last Monday!
I hope this stays south of us and it all falls on you!! :)

Ahhhhhh I'm in VA too. Trying not to get my hopes up because as you know this winter has been so lame. At 5:30 tonight I saw a plow truck drive by. They are going to be prepared for this one I think. :( We'll see!!!
 
Where in VA are you gals?? I live in Harrisonburg (Shenandoah Valley) and it just started snowing here. They are calling for 2-4" inches of snow..... This usually means that DS will have no where to go (preschool will close) but MOMMY will have to go to work (courts NEVER close) which makes for a really stressful day:rolleyes:
 
School Canceled in BOSTON!!

We live outside Boston and they just cancelled school...I'm so glad when they do it the night before so I don't have to bother waking up!!!

I live down south and we're getting it! I anticipate a sleep in day of coffee drinking in my p.j.'s tomorrow morning. My dog has never seen snow while it's falling down. When I sent her out and turned on the light she jumped, cried, and insisted on coming in immediately. I will have to put shoes on and make her go out before we go to bed. The flakes are huge for this southern gal and so fun to watch! I'm checking for closings now!
 
Yep, good ole South Carolina has cancelled schools for tomorrow. I took the children to CCD-religious ed in Chapin and it was snowing. There was no snow in my area but rain. 10 miles does make a difference.
 
I've got a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old boy so you know we are DEFINITELY crossing our fingers for snow. But DH will be at work, so I will be the one to bear the cold but they will have soooo much fun that it will be worth it. Charging the camcorder now!

I live in Mass also, hrcfitness.

I'm anxiously waiting a school cancellation in our town. I'm not looking forward to the snow, but no school is a perfect excuse to take the day off!!
 
I live in VA too and I am hoping for less than 6" of snow. I have 4 tests in 3 days so I need DD to go to daycare on Monday, plus I need DH to ....
 
I'm already declaring tomorrow a SNOW DAY!!!

I live in MD and whether they cancel work or not, I'm going skiing tomorrow!

School canceled in South Jersey too

Well I can only speak for our area, perhaps other areas of South Jersey have school. The automated school closing message was delivered around 10:45 tonight. The kids are soooooo excited to build a snowman in the morning (little do they know I have to teach class in the morning, unless weather gets really bad by daylight). But I'm sure we'll find some time in there for snowmen and snow angels though :)

I live in north central PA and am soooo happy to report the storm missed us. We just have frigid temps and wind. All you snowbound folks, don't forget the mini-marshmallows in your hot chocolate! Enjoy!
