SNOW DAY tomorrow?!! Please-oh-please!

Well they have my forecast from 2-4" to more like 6. My son is definitely not going to preschool, not sure yet if Mommy has to go to work, so stressful:rolleyes:

My boys are off from school and we will play all day in it!!!!

Of course, it would have been nice if DH hadn't flown to Florida yesterday! Well, that makes ShovelMax my workout today!!!

It is still snowing

I live in Midlothian, Va and it is 6:15am .. it is still snowing so I think Gov't girl is going to be pretty happy. My husband is going out to shovel snow. We thought that when we left NY we will never be using a snow shovel but here we are faced with a possible 8 to 10 inches, at least, that's what the NBC weather people are calling for. All schools are closed and some businesses are calling for delayed openings. Some accidents have already been reported on the Interstate. I work at a hospital so I am going to work if you know what I mean....

It is pretty though...:)

I live in NH and we are expecting 6 - 15. Nothing like a wide range, huh? :) :) :) We're just waiting it out to see what happens but it's supposed to end in the next couple of hours.
 
Snow days really are fun for kids and adults alike. I remember them from when I lived in New Jersey. But now I live in NYC, and if the subways are running, I have no excuses anymore. ;) Enjoy, you lucky snowbound folk!
 
Well, we got a 2-hour late opening and LIBERAL LEAVE, so guess what, I'll take it! ;) I bet that they'll close early though, it's a mess out there.

So now I'm home today with hot chocolate and strawberry waffles YAY!!! (of course, that's probably why I stilll have 10 lbs to lose!! :p but today is a free day, I figure. I probably won't go out, I'm going to take this time to clean the house--I bought a new vacuum yesterday, and am nerdily excited to try it out-- and spend a little time getting stuff organized. But only till 1pm...then I'm going to goof off and watch movies!
 
We got well over a foot here in central MA. My kids have missed so much school this winter that they didn't get a Feb. vacation and will be going to school until June 27th. unless they decide to take their April vacation too.
Yeh, I've had enough!

My workout today disc 7 and utlra shovelmax!:D burned off all those lovely girl scout cookies!!;)
 
I got to sleep in and drink coffee. I took a nap and drank more coffee. I'm about to work out now!!! Our power blinked several times last night so I'm uber thankful we have power and heat and coffee and that I can be home in comfort. It is going to be 64 degrees by Thursday. We have the strangest weather. Before this spell it was so warm it felt like spring and our trees were starting to bud.
