I wrote a message to "Contact Us" told them my husband copied Cathe's Wedding Video from the VHS onto a DVD. At the time more and more people were using DVD's, and I was no exception.

I use this video all the time (How To Get In Shape For Your Wedding) and when I post it on my groups forum, they always ask about it, and where can they purchase one. They say it's not available anywhere.

I asked (Contact Us) if my husband could make about 6-7 copies for my friends on the Cathe forums only to give to them as presents (free) and I would pay the postage my self. I want them to experience what great workouts they are.

But, "Contact Us" people didn't answer my question at all. Here is their response:

Hello, unfortunately we do not carry that title any longer. You may be able to find it on line a ebay or a similar site. Thank you.

I'm not looking to purchase one, (I already have one) I'm asking if my husband can make a few copies to give them away on Cathe's site only to friends, and only 6-7 copies would be made.

I wanted to ask permission if we could do this so we are legal and not get into trouble if we did.

I'm crossing my fingers that we will be able to make 6-7 copies only for my friends on Cathe's site.

Janie - my guess is that they cannot answer with the outcome you would like b/c to give you permission would be giving everyone permission to copy. It is a special case, indeed, and it would be so cool to have it, but they probably can't say "yes, go ahead." I wish they would though, or else re-release it, so others can have a chance to have the DVD! Good luck to you - you are sweet to ask first. Most would not!

Whatever the case may be, they should at least answer the question. Not send out a generic answer that made no sense at all. Yes or No would suffice.

We do appreciate you asking us, but we never allow anyone but our own duplicators to produce copies of our DVDs. This is the only way we can control and fight against illegal bootleggers as well as control the quality of our products.
