Hi everyone. I`m new on here, all the way from England!! I`ve just started to use Cathe`s workouts, so I`m busy building my DVD collection lol! I just wanted peoples thoughts on the Slow and Heavy series before I decide to buy it. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums! We're glad to have you join us from England!
Personally, I really like the S&H series and would recommend it. It has 3 separate workouts: Legs and Shoulders, Chest, Back & Abs, and Triceps, Biceps & Abs.
What other Cathe dvds do you own? We will certainly help you build your Cathe collection!!;-) :)

Good luck!

I'm relatively new to Cathe as well but I finished a 3 week rotation of S&H and loved it. Am now starting Gym Syle series. Will likely stick with that a bit longer - how long a rotation do the rest of you do for GS? I love Musclemax too - did a few of those in between S&H and GS. Actually, so far, I love EVERY SINGLE Cathe workout I've tried. I mostly have the weight training workouts as I have very little room for cardio workouts in my small workout room so I do treadclimber or walk or run on cardio days. I'm going to figure out how to do some of Cathe's cardio workouts though - maybe KPC??

Its quite difficult finding Cathe DVD`s over here as the shipping can be expensive! But so far I have Power Hour+, Supersets/Push Pull, Interval Max+, Hardcore Extreme and Timesaver. I`ve seen results in a few months and am enjoying the workouts so hopefully I`ll be abke to get more workouts. I`ll probably buy this series then. Thanks for the advice.

I just started Slow & Heavy and enjoy it very much. You perform less reps at a much slower pace, which makes it pretty challenging.

I really enjoy Slow & Heavy, as I can concentrate on my form because of the speed. I'm getting married in a few weeks ( :) ), with a strapless dress. It's Slow & Heavy and PUB that I have been using to really define my arms. I see a huge improvement after a few rotations of Slow & Heavy. It really works for me over endurance-type workouts where I'm rushing from exercise to exercise, getting new weights, etc. It might be too slow for some, but I love it!

Have a great day,
Dawn
