I am right with you Meecher; I would NEVER have thought I would do something like this! I am not that nervous yet, but know I will be... I get so excited just when Cathe answers a question that I've posted, I can't imagine what I'll be like "hanging out" with her in PERSON!!! I'm mainly a lurker on the forum, but maybe after I get to know you folks, that'll change. I can't wait!!

I haven't been to a Minnesota state fair in YEARS(being in FL in a hindrance, imagine that)but I LOVE THEIR CHEESECURDS--a coronary waiting to happen, but yummy!! It is in August(not sure of the exact date) until Labor Day. Mall of America is HUGE--bring your walking shoes, I vaguely remember that when it first opened somebody on tv said that if you went into every store for like, 5 minutes, you'd be there for a week or two--something crazy like that. Of course, I had to ride the water ride--didn't get too wet thank goodness!
Both will be a lot of fun for you!

Hi Linda!

Yeah, I don't check this board very often, so that's why it took me so long to respond. I don't have my plane ticket yet. I asked my husband if he wanted to go with me, but he replied with a resounding "no", so I will be going alone. I'm trying to catch up with reading all the new info posted over the past week and figure out what to do about the hotel. I'm hoping there are still rooms available somewhere. Have you booked a room?
