This isn't really the answer you're looking for, but if I only have 40 min to do a weight workout, I'd do just upper or lower (i.e. either the upper or lower body premix of Muscle Max). Or maybe do the lower body portion with some pushups, pullups and dips.
ETA: as far as I know, Cathe doesn't make a full body workout that is under 40 min, but I think Push/Pull is about 45 minutes.
