Or, you could eat a low fat, complex carbohydrate snack about an hour before your workout, and a protein based meal after your workouts, thereby ditching the need for any type of supplement altogether.
There's nothing special about that powder. You could buy some NSI Wholefoods powder. It has similar stats to Shakeology. It's $21 at Vitacost.com for a month- two month supply. If you hate it, at least you're not out much money.
