Scrambled Eggs, ---Whisk! I'm beaten

You should reach for this workout when you are ready for a true aerobic challenge. Otherwise, you’re just Humpty Dumpty after the fall; all cracked up. It’s a heart thumping, respiratory rising, sweat dripping, leg numbing eggsperience; all that and a side of toast.

This BM2 premix was not over easy, more like over hard and that’s no yoke. When I started this workout, my first thought was: this premix flows nicely. Halfway into the workout, I felt like Spirit Max was pulling me through. I guess I was having one of Cathe’s out of body experiences. By the end of the workout, well, I truly can’t remember anything except… whisk, I’m beaten. And for me, that’s eggsactly why this premix is called scrambled eggs.

This IS a tough one! It's the toughest premix I've ever done. If you want to bump it up even more, skip the weights - no recovery time at all. This is the one I reach for when I want a hard core, no-nonsense, calorie burning workout.

OK.... i must try this workout/premix!

how long is it?

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

I was telling DH that this seems like a good workout after a really big cheat day (like during the Holidays). I thought about taking out the weight segments because I thought it would make it easier . The weight work seemed to be what tired my legs out but now, hmmmm..... you've got me rethinking that strategy.

wow! ok.... that means a 4:30 start if i'm trying that!
thanx!

I think you'll like this premix because it is eggscellent, but YMMV. I mix up the intensity of my cardio workouts and cross-train, so that my body doesn't get used to any form of aerobic challenge. Even with that said, this is a tough premix and it is no 15 minute egg. This PM runs 80 minutes.

Hello Jordan.
Your description is great about the premix. Plus, I am now more tense about even attempting it after this. It's good that you are alive and able to speak about it.
Are you going to try it again?

Jennifer (in MI)

Hi Jennifer,

Don't be tense. It is a good idea to try things for yourself. You can always modify or stop (that is if Spirit Max doesn't push you through the challenge }( ).

I enjoyed the challenge of this workout and I will do it again. I remember when I did IMAX3 for the first time, IT SLAYED ME :p ! Now, I have tamed the beast. I don't think I will do this workout often because it runs a little long for me. I'll workout for 90 minutes to two hours at times, but I am usually doing a couple different things depending on my rotation.

Take the challenge (when you are ready) :7 ,

Ok, Saturday will be the day. Yes, I will need the Spirit Max for it for sure!! Do you like Boot Camp/ME? Have you done the other premixes yet?

Hi Jennifer,

Yes, I like Boot Camp/ME. I have to mention that I normally use splits. However, when ME came out I used it all the time and really enjoyed it. I only use it occasionally now. I still use Boot Camp but the frequency of it's use depends on my rotation.

I am working my way through all the premixes in this new set. So far I'm 1/2 way through and having fun.

Jordan-

I'll have to give this premix a try.

I love your description. Very clever. I wish I was a creative writer.

Joanne

I couldn't do it this weekend, I had problems attempting BMX2 as is.
Your thread has been a great motivator and incentive though.

I was wondering what the premix is like, since there's no description of it, and the name isn't very suggestive! Can you give more details?

Hi Joanne,

I would love to hear any description of a workout that you write. I'm sure that it would be very helpful to hear what other people think about Cathe's workouts :) .

Hi JT,

Don't worry. Just keep plugging away. It is better to work up to something, than to attempt too much too soon.

Have fun,
jordan
