S&H vs GS

I want to get one of these but which would you suggest? I already have 4DS, MM, ME, PUB/PLB, SS/PP. I want to add a different weight work out to shock the muscle a bit. What do you suggest and why? Thanks.

Based on the ones you have, I think S&H would be the most different to shock your body. I feel it's the only Cathe weight workout that's truly for muscle building. She only does 3 sets of 8 reps and has a longer rest between each set (which I like). 4DS is a kind of mix of endurance, pyramids and heavy, MM is moderate to heavy, ME and PP/SS are for endurance and the pyramids are a kind of a mix but I find them more endurance. S&H is truly just heavy weights.

Carmen, I just purchased S&H last week, Have only done 2 of the w/o's so far, they are completely different than GS, I was suprised that I had to go lighter on the wts., at least with upper body, lower I was able to go heavy. My muscles were shaking, I don't think I'll be able to do but a 2 wk rotation with them, I am enjoying it b/c they are so different from her other w/o's., I don't think I am much help!

Scubagirl, You are using the S & H series perfectly!!! It's only meant to be used in shorter cycles due to the required focus and energy. You said you didn't think you were much help..I disagree, you gave perfect advice on how to use this series!
 
I have both sets, and I think you should go for Slow & Heavy if you want something different from what you already have. Cathe gives a lot of how-to on form in S&H, the music is awesome for lifting heavy and you can really concentrate of what you are doing with this slower pace and less reps. S&H is truly effective if you want to gain muscle mass, just love this dvd.
 
Another vote for S&H. I always have some degree of fatigue after working out with Cathe, but this series left me bone tired (in a good way). *thumbs up* I really felt like I had challenged my muscles in a new way, and I look forward to doing another rotation in the future.
