I've been using the Pure strength series now for 3 months and really enjoy it. What is the difference between this and the new S&H series?

Hi,
I'm not Cathe but just wanted to say that S&H series is amazing! I absolutely love this series...the DVD makes it so easy to workout to. Plus it is the only series that's like it! It takes about an hour to work 2 body parts but it really exhausts me...I fall asleep right after because I get sooo tired. You get 1 minute rests after the set and you do 3 sets each...with 6 counts up and 2 counts down. My favorite is the tricep/bicep portion and the legs and shoulders ... I am not fond of the chest and back because I HATE lat rows :p and not only does she have 3 sets of them she tells me to "BEND OVER" while doing them! :) Cathe totally rocks in this series and makes me want to get muscles...she looks great!

I love it too. I can match Cathe pound for pound--something I can't do when the tempo is quicker. The workouts are awesome. Cathe's form (and form pointers) are perfection. It's definitely worth adding to your collection!

S&H rocks! It's funny, because I can match Cathe, and often exceed the weight she's using (during S&H), but when it comes to her muscular endurance workouts, I have to drop my weight well below what she's using. I'm looking forward to completing this S&H rotation to see if I can come closer to her weights in her faster workouts.

Thanks for the replies. I'm new to the forum and think it's really great to get all of this free advise! I'm 5'10" and 175, just trying to get over that hump. I think the weight lifting has really added something to my workout, but still need to work more on the cardio. It's tough when you live in WI in the winter. Can't workout much outside...still trying to drop that last 10 lbs.! Keep working out!

Hello,
Just wanted to add that it's now my third week on the S&H rotation and the past 2 weeks have added Cardio kicks once a week and I did the FIRM's Super cardio too this week ... anyway I decided to pull out my Volume 1 ( Body Sculpting Basics ... my favorite killer Firm video)for some variety and "OMG! It was easy! This tape has NEVER been easy for me! I got through the aerobic portion without dying...and the floorwork didn't kill me!
I finished and am still walking around!" Thank you for Cardio kicks and S&H legs...it didn't even take long to kick in! Your workouts are awesome!

Hi Bobbi!
Just wanted to thank you again for the Circuit Max DVD...I am doing fantastic with cardio kicks! Havent had a chance to work in circuit max yet! I dont usually like kickbox workouts but this one is actually fun! It has done wonders for my cardio too! Thanks again!

My pleasure, Rachel. I have the Kickbox on VHS. I love it too!I am going back into a S&H rotation soon. I am cancelling the total body workout I had planned for today and I am doing Leaner Legs instead. I used 20 pound dumbells for the chest flies from MIS on Saturday and my muscles are sore!
