Tess, I prayed for your cousin just as soon as I read this post. I have 2 little boys who just love climbing and adventure. It's hard not to live in a perpetual state of "what if" as I watch the scrapes they get themselves into. I am constantly trusting myself and them to the Lord! I especially pray that you and the rest of the family may have peace, no matter what the outcome will be, but of course we are praying for the best!
Today I did go ahead and do Step Blast instead of Rhythmic Step. Both have such fun choreography, but I wanted more of a challenge than Rhythmic Step. Step Blast was fun and perfect.
How do you all determine your step height? I used to think that Rhonda was very long and gangly, till I read that Cathe is 5'2". So then I realized that Rhonda is probably my height (5'8"). That was a shocker! I've read that some folks felt themselves giants on the last RT. That'll be me! Are any of the rest of you out there around my height? Do you automatically assume that you need 2 risers for the step workouts? It seems that Cathe used to use 2 risers more often, then she began to use just 1 more often (except on Low Max), but Rhonda kept on using 2, I'm assuming because of height.
I used 2 today, following Rhonda. My method has been to use 2 when I'm having an "up" day and to drop to 6 inches on those "no strength" days, as Cathe says in Power Hour!
Today was a good food day:
B-Just Right with milk
S-apple and orange
L-1 beef fajita; lean beef, lots of red, yellow, green peppers; no goopy toppings
S-banana and one homemade oatmeal cookie
S-baked chicken; 4 tiny baked potatoes (you can't buy big ones here!) with just salt and a little oil on the skin; plateful of broiled veggies
Have a good day yourself. Oh, yes. I'm between 7 and and 10 hours ahead of you, depending on where you are in the States, so that's how I've already eaten supper.
