rotation for 4 day split

I am really energized thinking about those new DVDs starting to ship - anyway I want to be ready to go when they arrive!

I hope this is not a "stupid question" - I have been assuming the idea of the 4 day split is that you do the 4 workouts in one week, then repeat the next week, etc. Which would mean 4 workouts a week, 3 days off? Or not?

Would it make sense to do this for a month, for example? I.e. only the 4 day split every week for 4 weeks in a row?

Or would you mix it up with other DVDs?

With my work schedule I am looking to save time, but also want to work hard and increase my fitness level. I usually work out about an hour and 15 minutes, 5 days a week.

Aim for nothing, and you'll hit it every time!

I'm going to mix the new series up with other DVDs.

I'll most likely do all 4 in the same week and tag on a 2 day split (upper/lower). Four days isn't enough for me personally.

I was planning on using the 4DS Sat-Tues, a yoga day on Wednesday (like the P90X YogaX) and then one of the following workouts on Thursday: circuit, cardio only, or total body weights. Friday is a rest day for me.

I plan to mix the new and old Cathe workouts with my other dvd's as well. I'm trying to put together a rotation calender that incorperates The Firm and Cathe equally into my exercise regimen. It can be difficult though to find the right balance of cardio + strength + flexability to put into a routine.

I am going to do each workout once a week and add in running 2x. I am a cardio lover, and with the shorter cardio in this series I think this will work well for me for the next month. But I must say, the cardio is pretty intense, so we'll see if this works for me. I just did the Bootcamp workout tonight and it was tough for me. I felt good afterwards, but it was a challenge.

To build muscle in my lower body, I am currently doing the 4 days of the new workouts, one day of a Butts and Gutts Premix, one day of stretch, and rest.
