Ok, I just discovered if you open a message in a new window you can read the threads...
Carole, that sounds like a GREAT workout! I am LOL at your comment about your "kid" - I have an almost 3 year old and an almost 30 year old to contend with!
Tess, welcome! I also post at Ya-Yas (not a whole lot - my name is Mrstrace there as well - original, no?) I started with Cathe almost 2 years ago and I had to work up to them - just do parts at a time and you'll be amazed at how soon you'll get through a workout without even blinking an eye!
Liann - Welcome! Where in PA do you live? I'm in northern Delaware so wherever you are, can't be too far from me. Well, in relation to the entire U.S.
I am also working at leaning out and burning fat (I have about 15 lbs. I would like to lose before the RT) - we will all help support you!
Melissa - Welcome!
Drill Max is SUCH a great workout- I haven't done it in a while but I think I have to drag it out after hearing you say you did it yesterday!
Eating is also a challenge for me - I had to go back to WW to get it under control. I love food!
Kathy - hello!
That looks like a GREAT workout and great eating plan too - I aspire to eat as cleanly as you do!
Wendy, I actually just got P90X from a Ya-Ya about a month or so ago. I'm not doing a rotation right now (I feel like we just talked about this - maybe we did ... brain is not working today) but I have done several of the workouts on their own and watched several others. I would definitely do more leg work (Cathe's GS Legs, or maybe Butts and Guts or Legs and Glutes) because it is VERY upper body intensive.
It doesn't have the fun factor that Cathe does though, I will tell you that much.
Josie- I don't have PUB but it sounds like a HARD workout! Enjoy! (Crazy 8's are the death of me, I will admit- so if it has anything like those - yowsas!) Eating clean is hard work - but we must indulge now and again!
(I had birthday cake Saturday night- yum!)
Michelle- that sounds like a GREAT workout!
Enjoy it! KPC is one of my all time faves.
Jennifer - that sounds like a great workout on your agenda. Whew, my arms hurt thinking about those 72 pushups- I aspire to one day be able to crank them all out on my toes!
Gayle - Welcome! You are going to be one of my inspirations - working out at 4:45 in the morning, plus training for a half! I am also following WW points - it is a great program. I am saddened of hearing about your husband but it fills my heart with joy to see that you have found love again. How courageous and strong you must be. (((HUGS)))
Cheryl- 20 weeks till the roadtrip? That makes it sound shorter than 4.5 months away!
Great workout you got in today!
I, too, have a soft spot for jelly beans.. yum!
Colleen - what a fabulous gift to yourself for quitting smoking! I, too, can be shy at times - but it seems like the RT group is going to be a GREAT one and the fact that we're getting to know each other early is great as well!
Robin - Welcome! I am looking forward to getting to know you as well. It sounds like your afternoon workout schedule is really great - I would love to be able to work out at that time.
Cheryl- GREAT workout for today - I can't remember if I've ever done Scrambled Eggs or not - I must have at some point. Love BM2! One of my favorites. Enjoy your spring weather! (And, P.S. You are my IDOL. 10 kids! I barely have patience for my one sometimes! What a huge heart you must have!
Nancy - welcome!
(And, I did get a message from Carol, thx!
Eating well is definitely always going to be a challenge - especially with family GTGs and Easter. But - we should indulge now and again....
as long as we eat clean 90% of the time
Beth, I also have a sweet tooth - I have sf jello with FF cool whip at night or fudge pops - or those 100 cal packs.... I could go on and on.... I like Jari's Slim and Lean as well - I prefer that over Ripped to the Core. But my favorite of hers is probably the Ripped 1000 one
WHEW! That took a long time!!! Have a GREAT day ya'll!!!!
