I just purchased the pyramid dvd. I have 2 herniated lower back disks. When trying to complete the hamstring work on the stability ball I experienced sharp lower back pain. Would there be another option to complete the hamstring work while protecting my lower back? Thanks.
Maybe you could try putting your foot on your high step instead. I believe that is what modification is shown in the workout. A lot of muscles are used to hold yourself on the stability ball, so using a Step may help.

I agree completely with Susan! I have lower back problems too, and putting my foot on the step instead of the ball makes all the difference. It's still quite a workout that way, but no more back pain.
