Morning Ladies!

Today is some type of workout, don't quite know what yet.

Robin, I am all about some complex choreography, but I expect it to come with good instruction, which Amy does not deliver in this one. Her first workout ASC was easy for me to learn, she was very thorough in her preview chapter, but her preview chapter on this one did not cover nearly what it should have. She continually cues into the move or after.

Lara, I bet you will be doing BM2 tonight.;-) :7

Big hello to everyone else.:)

I agree, her teaching and cueing is not nealy as good as Cathe. I had an easier time learning this one then the first though.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing. The Nov rotation calls for a day off, but I had a losing battle with some cake last night and feel the need for some cardio. I'm thinking maybe an IMAX. I haven't tackled one of those for a long time.

Good Morning PYGFOers!

Today was KB/Legs/Core for me. Love that KB!:) :)

Michelle--I've been meaning to tell you, I love your new avatar pic. So pretty!

Robin--Enjoy the IMAX you choose today! What kind of cake? Yum!:9

Off to 4 year old land.
Gin:)

Hi everyone! This morning's workout was Your Best Body Circuit with Michelle Dozois. This was surprisingly tough. Circuits are always the toughest for me but this one was a nice challenge. I really liked it. Anyway, good news!! I'm getting a treadmill!! I've been begging DH for one for 2 years so he finally relented and we're going this weekend to look at some. I love to do run/walk intervals but doing them outside is so tough on my joints. I used to use the treadmill at the gym 3x per week for 30 minutes and I got pretty lean with that. So I'm excited. I know I will use it. I've tried the dancy step choreography and it just isn't for me. I love kickboxing but since I'm working out in the mornings now, I need something where I can just get on and go without having to think.

Michelle - I've tried a few of the Amy's now and they just don't do it for me. I've given her a fair shot, she's just not for me.

Robin - have fun with Imax!!

Gin - KB/Legs/core is on tap for me tomorrow.

Have a great day ladies!!

Hey Pygfoer's!!

sorry I have been scarce these last few days! again, it's life presenting itself to be very busy and there has been very little computer time for me...

So, as you guys know, my boys' band opened for Blues Traveler this weekend. OMG, it was one of the most amazing times ever. They WOWed the crowd and everyone realy loved them. Their website has been booming and they have had some people writing to tell them that they are now fans! I love it... Then, after the Blues Traveler played an amazing two hour show, they spoke to the boys and told them how much they loved their set and that they should stick with it, so talented for being so young... and so on!Um, John Popper was a little **ahem** tipsy and gave them some not so good advice about "Vicodin" but thankfully my guys know that that kind of advice should NOT be heeded!!( Rock Stars... sheesh!) Anyway, The boys were so happy and I admit I was bursting with pride. Oh, one more thing, they got a great review in the newspaper the next day. Here is a little bit of the article:

Blues Traveler
By Sandy Tomcho

Times Herald-Record
November 12, 2007

It’s a good thing there were lots of dancers at Saturday’s Blues Traveler show because the Chance Theater was COLD.

Even John Popper noticed while he was on stage.

But, before we get to Blues Traveler, let’s talk about A Fragile Tomorrow, one of the opening acts. Comprised of the three Kelly brothers and their friend Shaun, this band from Montgomery has talent. More talent than should be expected from such a young band. Collectively, members play over 10 instruments, but even though that night’s show was acoustic, it was nonetheless impressive. The group played songs off its yet-to-be-released new album, “Beautiful Noise,” which is being produced by Grammy-winning producer Malcolm Burn and the crowd absolutely loved them.

So, sorry for yet again another mommy rant, but I thought I would share with you guys since you are all so very supportive!!!

Robin: Hmm.... that battle with the cake? You crack me up with that!!!

Michelle: I agree, your avatar pic is boooootiful... but then again, why wouldn't it be??

Tess: Yippeee for the Treadmill!!! I know how much you want one! Make sure you go for the best one you can so you can get the most out of it.

Gin: When is your cryo procedure? Is it Thursday?? I am thinking of you...

Lara: How are you feeling? are you finally feeling better ( I hope so!!)

Heather: Thank you for your kind words the other day. I am blushing... I bet there are alot of us here who have shared so many of the same things. Every day is hard work, but you can do it!!! Keep it up!

Carolyn and Laura: Haven't seen you guys... hope all is well.

Hey Liann!!

Okay, off to w/o. I am doing 4ds KB/LB. Love that one!!! Well, love the kickbox part, but in my opinion LB work is the work of the Devil himself... but a necessary evil.

BBL, have a great day!!

Good morning all,

Today is an off day for me. It a good thing because I have lots of errands and stuff to get done.

Tess - Glad to hear you are getting a treadmill. My boys have been dying for one for a while. I would love to have one but not sure where we could put it with all MY workout stuff:p

Vicki - Congrats again on the band. The article really boosted the band. WOW, Grammy Award winning producer. I'm impressed:D

Good Day to everyone else :)

BTW: Who posted the recipe for banana bread w/oatmeal or protien powder. (Something like that). It sounded good when I read it but now I can't find it.

PYGFO Check-in

PYGFO Sisters:

Blessing my body with an earlier bedtime last night was a good decision. I had a little more energy today. Starting this day with Kickbox helped too! There is nothing like a burst of Cathe sunshine in the morning to add a big splash of joy to the whole day. The cardio kickboxing is fun, fun, fun. I am never ready for it to end, but it is just right for the lower body work that follows. The heavy leg presses are getting easier for me. I modified and started the low-plane lunges from the top of the movement and still felt them. Mercy! Yes, I definitely felt them! I am amazed that Cathe and her girls can start on the floor with heavy weights in both hands. The final round is still my favorite. I have fun playing with the band! I am loving the core work in this one more and more every week. Did I mention that I love, love, love this workout? I was tempted to repeat the cardio tonight, but I am determined to stick with Cathe’s rotation. I am planning to enjoy the cardio premix Friday morning for my optional cardio workout, so I will enjoy it again this week. Yippee!

My cycle started today too. That explains my craving for sweets yesterday afternoon and the blues I was battling last night.

Stretch Max is in my DVD player for tomorrow morning, which is another personal favorite. I am looking forward to recharging tomorrow so I can have fun with Lower Intensity Step Thursday morning.

My boss was out of town today, and I enjoyed a peaceful and quiet day at work. My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. It is time to enjoy a warm bubble bath and call it a day.

I just ordered my 2008 Cathe calendar! It will be fun to see pictures of Cathe’s first bodybuilding contest and beauty pageant!

Michelle, your new avatar picture is beautiful!

Robin, I am sorry to hear about your losing battle with cake. I hope it was yummy! :9

Gin, I love Kickbox too! It brings back beloved Road Trip memories!

Tess, welcome to the world of morning workouts! I am the opposite of you. I love dancy choreography and hate cardio equipment.

Vicki, thank you for the encouragement.

Carolyn, I hope you enjoy the banana bread.

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: PYGFO Check-in

Hello.

I am up late typing evaluations. I need to type so many more, but I am getting tired!! Today was 4DS LIS/HIS and LoMax Blasts only. I was ready to dive into weights, but I got my allergy shots in each arm (they incresed the dosage) and I got a flu shot and I can barely lift my arms overhead. I managed 4DS bi/tri, but I couldn't lift as heavily.

Michelle...It is funny--you know exactly what I am thinking!! I would have done BMax2, but I know my arms couldn't handle the weight workout. Maybe I can get to it later this week.

Vicki...Yes, I am finally better. I am not 100%, but at least I am feeling better! These darn allergiesx( How wonderful about your DS's opening act. I am so glad things went well for them!!I can't wait until their CD is out!!

Tess...How exciting!! I have one, but I use it in spurts. I have so many videos to choose from and I belong to 2 gyms. I usually use mine early in the morning if DH isn't up and I need to fit in a morning workout without waking him. I also use it sometimes for extra cardio if I have eaten poorly. Maybe if I had a brand new one I would use it more!! What kind did you buy?

Robin...I am feeling your pain with the cake!! I ate brownies this morning and chocolate cake and ice cream at dinner tonight:9 It sure tastes yummy, but I will have to work extra hard the next few days!!

Hello to everyone else. I am going back to work.
