Push It

Toni----It is so hard for the avid exercisers to take a rest week, but you definitely need to listen to your body. If you don't want to take a rest week----consider staying away from the very intense workouts like Imax 3 and the heavy lifting for one week. Do you have the step workouts from the Shock Cardio series. They are good workouts but doesn't zap the energy out of you like Intensity or Imaxes will. It is just an idea. I am not sure if it will work for you. Meanwhile--Kudos for getting through Imax 3 when low energy. I can barely get through that workout when I am at the top of my game. I wish I knew why Cathe thought we needed 72 push ups in GS Chest and Triceps. She should be ashamed of herself. :D

Jennifer---I have so much love for Butts and Gutts. Girl---I can see you holding on to the rail because I have had those moments. Congrats on improving your push ups!

Stacie---My son is doing better and has returned to school. Now, if we can get through all the make up work.

Natty
--I am glad you enjoyed your first STS leg workout. All I have to say is wait for DISC 9. Please come back and give me a report :D

TTOM the last few days so my energy has been low. Yesterday was GS Back, Shoulders and Biceps. Today was Athletic Step---the perfect cardio workout on a low energy day. I didn't like this workout at first and it just collected dust. Then I discovered it to be a great workout when i don't have that much energy and I want to make sure I get my workout in. I can step and sweat without the tucking, jumping and shuffling. Amazing how you can suddenly see a workout in a whole new light.

Good morning eveyone :)

So Monday's w/o (M1, W1, D3) had me feeling some nice DOMS today. No problems sitting on the toilet though :(. I know I should up my weight for the next disc w/legs.

Yesterday's w/o (M1, W1, D1) hahahaha.....hahahaha.....hahahaha. Holy cannolli, push-ups up the wazoo!!! My arms were fried, seriously FRIED. I'm anticipating some serious DOMS to the point where I might not be able to type. I think I did very well figuring out my weight selection, except for chest presses where I'm naturally stronger. I had a hard time however getting all my equipment ready and felt a bit disorganized (which bothers me). Weights were all over the place, they got in the way of my push-ups, my step was in the way, man it was hurricane city. Working in a small-ish room has it's challenges.

As for the push-ups, I did the first set of 8's, standard, 1.5's (1 full, 1 half) on my toes. The second set of 8's, 1.5's, chest wide, I did those too. Then came the 30 regular standard. Yup, no way. Was Cathe on some serious drugs when she filmed that??.

Susan
Thanks for the links on the rotations. They look great. I think I might copy you on some of the cardio ;).
I hope your shoulder is feeling better.
Watch out for D1. That sucker is no joke.
Toni
Rest assured, everyone has "off" days with workouts. Listen to and respect your body. A few months back, I had to lay off high impact for 1 whole month. My knee's and back were destroyed. Now I'm a high impact junkie, so you can imagine how tough that was for me. Thankfully LIS had just come out and saved me. Take a well deserved rest week if you need it.
Stacie
Are you going to do a Weilder ST rotation?
I'm glad you are liking the JM's. I only did her stuff, Bob Harper's and Jackie Warner's stuff for 1 1/2 years before I found Cathe.
Hope you and your son are doing well :).
Nope, STS DOMS is not gonna detour me from continuing the program. I want DOMS, it means I'm pushing and challenging myself. I want me some more muscles baby!
Jennifer
I love the feeling of being totally fried after a workout (in a good way!). I have this weird love affection for DOMS (can't you tell?).
Yes, do the 4DS rotation. I never go the chance to, but I love the workouts! After STS, I'm doing it for sure!
Your hubby sounds like a great guy. I have a neurotic cleaner and I'm the cook so it works out; I'm not very thorough with housework .
It's wonderful you take such good care of your skin. No wonder you look so young :).
Heartymax
Athletic Step is my absolute favorite step workout. I agree, no tucking, no air jacking, and you still get a great workout.
Oh no, disc 9!!!??? Is that legs? Now I gotta check it out!

Have a great day ladies :)

Good morning everyone! No news to report in the way of workouts. I am going to make this short so hopefully I can squeeze in a workout before work.

Toni
I have no had a rest week since I started working out regularly again in August 2011 (found Cathe in September). If you need a rest week, definitely take one! Maybe you could do some yoga or walking during this week? For me, I am honestly terrified due to past history that if I took a rest week I would never start up again.

HeartyMax
Hooray for your son being back at school! I had to smile when you mentioned disc 9! It was actually disc 7 for me that made me want to collapse to the floor in a puddle of sweat and defeat. 182 pushups in that one...and I did every single one of them...on my knees of course but I still did them!

Natty
Ahhhh.....DOMS. Your comments about it reminded me of...well me! I love DOMS too! I don't mind feeling sore everywhere...struggling to put on coats, hurting to sit down, etc. I know it sounds completely crazy but I like the soreness! It makes me feel like a bada*s. Btw, the workouts that gave me the biggest DOMS were the squat rack discs. I think that's why I liked them so much. I hurt for days everywhere after week 4.

I will get the Weider ST set in the near future. I am kinda liking how I have been splitting the workouts up lately by doing short cardio sessions in the morning.

Have a great day everyone!

My arms are so tight and sore from Trisets; I can imagine what you STS people are going through - amazing!
So far my legs are still doing fine; just a bit of soreness here and there, which definitely is already more than what I get from Lower Body Blast even though I like that workout and it is tough... B&G is just a super-good one as you all seem to agree:)

I did KPC this morning but tomorrow I will kick it up a notch or two... not sure I'll go with a step workout and I definitely am not up for a circuit w/o yet!

Natty, Hurricaine city - that's funny! But I totally get it. I get in my own way and my stuff gets in my way and I feel so disorganized on some workouts, too. It's annoying! Even though I've gotten to where I press the Pause then Rewind it still is annoying!
Awesome job on the pushups - chest wide - I will have to try that. I have tried holding in the down phase and that gets me, but practice all kinds of ways I will:)

Heartymax, I'm glad you found a place for Athletic Step. After all, as even Cathe says, "they can't all be that hard" - and they do seem to restore the body.
72 Pushups?! Shameful indeed!

Toni, I also think some light workouts would be good, active recovery; workouts keep the spirits up, keep the stiffness away (or is that just me?!), and keep you in the routine (otherwise sometimes it is hard to get back into it). Then when you're ready to blast at it again it won't be so hard.

Everyone else, hope all is well!

I best get - going to give one of the dogs a bath (Aurora); all 3 shed but she sheds the worst because she has a thicker coat than the other two. It's 90 degrees today so it's a good day to play in the water. Plus, she actually loves baths so it will be fun... I think she likes the attention and all the rubbing - and since she gets hot easily she will love the cold water.
Toodles until next time!

Evening!!

Today was GS Shoulders, Back, and Biceps plus CoreMax 3. I did really good with this one today. I was able to do a couple sets of the one arm rows with 20lbs!! Shoulders is still my weak spot, but I still did much better with the band work this week. I still didn't get all the reps in, but there was much less rest this week. I was able to increase my weight on the split bicep curls also. I was really happy with the workout.

Getting the extra sleep and dropping the elliptical worked really well this morning. I didn't burn nearly the calories as I usually burn, but if I'm too tired to workout I'm not going to burn any!!

Mostly I think I'm killing my legs with the elliptical, high impact, and lower body workouts back to back. I think I will continue to not do elliptical on my GS upper body days to give my legs a complete break on those days. I also think I'm going to switch IMAX3 to Low Max for the rest of this rotation. It burns tons of calories, but is not as hard on my body. I think that may be enough to keep me going.

Oh and by no means would I take the entire week of with no workouts!! I may never start back up...LOL!! By rest week, I'm thinking no weights(or only light weights) and no high impact. Like maybe a week of all steady state cardio and shorter workouts. The only time I allow myself to not workout for an entire week is when I go away on vacation. It's urually too difficult to fit it in anyway and I want to enjoy my time away.

My CCC arrived in the mail today. I'm previewing it now and all I can think is that I must have been crazy for ordering this!! Some moves look easier, but others I'm already dreaming up modifications for. Cathe is crazy. The good thing I see is lots of rest and she doesn't do any one thing for too long. Not sure when I will fit this into a rotation though.

Jennifer
KPC is one of my favorite workouts!! I love when the song comes on that says 'just a little bit longer'. I always think to myself...yes, I can do this a little longer...LOL!!

Natty
You're scaring me with the STS descriptions...LOL!! I am still considering it, but maybe I should build up more strenght first.

HeartyMax
I love steady state cardio for low energy days. It feels like you haven't done much even when you have. I'm planning to do Rhythmic Step tomorrow as sort of a rest day for just that reason.

Good morning all :)

Yesterday's w/o was super fun; Step Moves + SJP hi/lo add on, with a total time of 60min. If you guys have not tried the hi/lo from SJP, it's quite the experience. First of all, the music is rockin'! I just wanted to leave the choreo behind and start dancing like Usher. The high impact section is pretty tough with some plie jacks thrown in. Nothing crazy, but enough to keep your HR up there. The lo section is all choreo though, very dancy. Pivot turns, sachets, ponies, turning 360 on one foot, just to name a few. I had a hard time keeping up. It's kinda' like complex step but minus the step. I left the workout smiling, which to me is just as important as pushing myself with interval training. Balance is a good thing.

Heartymax & Stacie
Did you get hungrier with STS? Did you increase your protein? Any suggestions?
Stacie
Doing short cardio sessions in the mornings sounds like a wonderful idea. It's great your fitting in the time to do that.
You mentioned Spartakus awhile back. How is that series? I need a new one to watch now that The Walking Dead is over and Game Of Thrones and Mad Men is only one day/week.
Jennifer
You have 3 dogs right? I hope to get a dog one day when Bella is older and I can devout time to take care of him/her. My ex-next door neighbor bred German Shepherds and trained them in German! People came from all over Canada to buy one of his puppies. He truly cared about his dogs and would screen the buyers and follow up on them often. But then I see all the dogs at the shelters that need a home and my heart breaks. I think those ones are often abused and come with emotional instability, but I love the idea of giving an animal a second chance in a loving home. What are your opinions/thoughts?
Toni
CCC is no joke. I regard it as the toughest cardio Cathe has put out. Personally, it feels like a long 45min hiit workout. The core sections give you relief, but that's about it. That and 40/20 kill me. You can do it though, and don't forget to modify if needed.
1 arm rows with 20lbs is awesome! Congrats!
As far as STS is concerned, don't be afraid. I want to be worked hard, so perhaps that's why the series has always enticed me (I was super jealous of the STS'ers on the forums!). Don't rush though if you're not ready. I will tell you honestly, getting a Turbo Tower was a necessity. I can go pretty heavy with chest presses and had no where to place my bar on :(. So out of safety, I needed something anyway. But man, doing pull-ups and chin ups with that thing makes you feel like a totall bad a**!! I love it for Barre work too, and it also helps stabilize my back when I do 1 arm rows or tricep kickbacks, as I place my free hand on the bar at just the right height. It's a very versatile piece of equipment. Have I convinced you to get it yet? ;)

Bye, bye everyone! Have a wonderful day :)

My arms are still terribly sore but I still managed to bang out 10 pushups and, since I was running late this morning (seems like a trend for me this week), I only had time for HiiT Pyramid.

Natty, thanks for the SJ&P description; I've thought about getting that one but haven't yet. You know me and dancy - we don't mix well - but I wouldn't be afraid to try it:) Sometimes it's nice to workout with no equipment.
As for kennels vs breeders I know what you mean. Seems they all need homes so which way should one go to get a dog; it is true that some kennel dogs have scars and issues... but a lot of those dogs are grateful to have a home and make some of the greatest pets ever, and perhaps they were fine dogs to begin with but were abandoned for financial reasons, were lost but never found, or their elderly (or otherwise) owner died -- just to name a few reasons dogs end up in kennels (pet overpopulation just came to my mind; puppies not having homes to go to). The people who take care of these dogs at the kennels usually have a good grip on the personality of the dog and that can be helpful.
I don't know anything about breeding but I have heard that sometimes if a puppy is taken from it's mom too early that can cause issues - they may not have learned what it is too hard regarding play biting; they may be insecure and skittish, they can even have genetic mutations due to some sort of breeding issue, or a pure breed known for a particular issue - German Shepard's hips for example - can become a problem.
It's important to decide on the personality type for a dog that will work best for your lifestyle and all you can do is try to make the right choice when the time coms. There are too many choices that's for sure.

Toni, Great idea on switching to Low Max from IMax3; Low Max is one of those workouts that just sneak up and leave you wondering "how the heck did that happen!" I love the music on that one, too.
As for CCC, it's great for those "no equipment days" and it's done well under an hour which is also nice. It's also a butt kicker in my opinion but we all love those :) As Natty put it - now that she mentioned it - it does seem like a long HiiT workout!
KPC is one of my go-to workouts; that and Intensity:)
Congrats on the 20lbs 1-arm rows!

I'm at work so I best get - until later, ladies, have a good night!

Good afternoon everyone! Another busy day today. Last night I did part of GS Back, Biceps, and Shoulders. This has not been a good workout week so I am pushing off my start day of STS one week and repeating this week's workouts again. It will worked out so that my rest week will correspond with the time we will be gone at cub scout camp. A win win!

I created weight workouts for the GS workouts which has been handy. I love the way I can use my 1RM values to customize these workouts so I get the best benefit from them! I am pretty certain that it should pick up any updated 1RM values but I haven't tested that part yet. Plus, now I can also track via the workout manager the weight values I used the last time I did the workout. Way cool!

Natty
I stumbled across a bargain for the 1.25lb plate weights today! Wayfair.com has them on sale right now. I was able to pick up 6 of them for only $22. You might want to check it out! There are two types: black ones and grey ones. The black ones have a cheaper per unit price but they don't have free shipping and I don't think they are cast iron. I went with the grey ones. I think they will match the current set.

I did feel more hungry during STS. I staved it off with cottage cheese and some protein shakes. I love the Jay Robb protein powder with orange juice. I probably should have upped my milk intake as well. Come to think of it, I still haven't made those dang protein cookies. Now there are recipes for clean ice cream and healthly crepes on the Cathe site. Oh...and the pancakes with the almond butter...bought all the stuff and haven't made those either. Some day I will get everything I need to get done done!

Toni
I see what you mean now about the rest weeks. In STS, Cathe refers to them as Active Recovery weeks which is why some of us may have been confused. Anyway, I think you should totally do that! I try to take one week each 4-6 week cycle. I do feel a little crazy during them though since I won't even touch a weight.

Jennifer
Have you tried the furminator for your dogs? It looks amazing....my dog sheds a ton too and people have been raving about the furminator. I have a Target pharmacy reward discount sitting at home. Maybe it's time to get one and try it out! If I do, I will let you know what I think about it.

See ya later everyone!

Evening!!

Today was Rythimic Step. Love me some steady state cardio!! I know that HiiT workouts are best for burning calories all day long, but steady state is still my fav :) But I have to tell ya, 59 minutes of fast paced steady state cardio is tiring!! I'm a tired sweaty mess after this one. But I recover much faster from my steady state workouts. Tomorrow is BootCamp!! Looking forward to it.

I'm putting together my next four week rotation. Do you think I could do AfterBurn followed by Pyramid UB? I'm thinking if I go really light on the UB stuff in AfterBurn, I could easily follow it up with Pyramid UB. I really want a no-leg workout after AfterBurn. If I can't follow it up with PUB, then I suppose I'll put it at the end of the week before my rest day.

I'm throwing in a second workout today  I had TWO pork chops(baked) at dinner and an ice cream cone   I promised myself this week that any day I cheated on my diet I would throw in an extra workout to burn it off. The cruise is only 47 days away...my belly must be flat!! After that I will go back to my old cycle of gaining a couple pounds one week and losing them the next...LOL!!

Natty
What is SJP? I've been trying to figure it out, but I'm not having any luck.
I am thinking I will get STS towards the end of the year for a January start. I will need a Turbo Tower and a set of 25lbs. I am buying a set of 20lbs this weekend. I have some adjustable dumbells, but I don't like them. If I spread out the cost of the additional equip and the cost of the program itself over the rest of the year, it shouldn't be too bad on my pocket. I"m really liking the small bit of definition(and I do mean small bit) that I'm barely beginning to see with just a couple weeks of GS. I'm sure STS will be even better. My hubby def approves

Stacie
Can't wait to hear how STS goes for you. I'm excited to see everyones progress with it.
Sorry about the rest week thing. That's what they call them in the BeachBody world, but Active Recovery is a much better term. Honestly, I like all Cathe's stuff better than anything I've done with BeachBody. Her stuff just seems 'smarter' if you know what I mean.

Ok....off to burn up that ice cream :D

Toni------Rhythmic Step is not my idea of workout for low energy. It may be steady state cardio, but that workout is exhausting. But I know what you mean:D Good Luck with CCC. That is one tough workout and dust collector in my house. Too much dread factor for me. Maybe one day I will work up enough nerves to try it again. I have done maybe 2 or 3 times.

Natty----I do recall needing a healthy mid-morning snack when lifting heavy.

Stacie---I did GS Back, Shoulders and Biceps earlier this week and I was tired when I did it but managed to make it through. I think I recall having to go lighter on a few sets because it has been a low energy week for me.

Today was GS Chest and Triceps followed by a Premix of Low Impact Step Challenge for 30 minutes of cardio. After 72 drop set push ups, I didn't have the energy to do a burpee push up in the the step workout so I just did the burpee.:D

Good morning ladies :)

Yesterday was my rest day. The weather is getting warmer so I was able to go out walking w/Bella around the neighborhood for a solid 2 hours. She loves looking at bugs, flowers and rocks along the way. I stumbled across an elementary school that I will consider enrolling her into next year. I'm fairly new to this city and still pretty unfamiliar with some of the schools. Our town's population only has about 25,000, a big change from the 3 million I was used to back in Toronto. The biggest change however is the lack of diversity. Toronto is very multicultural. I remember growing up, my friends were from South America, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, India, Poland, Phillippeans. Perhaps that's where I got my love for worldly cuisine :p.

Today's w/o is STS M1 W1 D2 (Back & Tri's). Oh heaven almighty . Back is a strong area for me naturally, and tri's are my weakest. I previewed the disc and feel pretty excited to bust out my tower for pull/chin ups!!!!

Heartymax
I think I might be needing a mid-morning snack also. I usually have 3 meals and 1 or 2 snacks depending on the day. I guess a protein shake should suffice or some greek yogurt.
I really like Low Impact Challenge. Besides it being low impact, I like the innovative moves.
I'm starting to think after Meso 1 push-up-a-thon, Gym Style must be a cake walk for you .
Stacie
Thanks for the tip on the 1.25lbs, I appreciate it. In reality though, every US on-line store kills us Canadians with shipping or does not even ship here . It's like we live on a different planet or something .
I love how you converted Gym Styles to reflect the 1RM. I can see why everyone loves STS now. It seems very addictive.
Do you go to cub scout camp too? If Bella decides she wants to go to camp, I will not hesitate to send her. I think it's a wonderful experience for children.
Jennifer
Thank you for taking the time to clarify the puppy kennels/breeders :).
Congrats on the push-ups too, even while you're sore.
Toni
Sorry, SJP = Step, Jump & Pump part of the Body Blast Series with KPC, Step Blast, Push/Pull. Two thumbs up from me! :)
Isn't it nice when the hubbies notice things like that :). Mine told me my butt and thighs were getting smaller .I didn't know whether to kiss him or punch him. I'll take it as a compliment ;).
As far as Afterburn being done before/after a strength training workout, Cathe did it in her LIS rotations.
I'm lovin' me some ice cream during the summer :p. I'm a fan of little cheat days ;).

Ok, have a great day ladies :)

Good morning everyone. Last night was half of KPC...the hard part of it. Not sure why my energy levels have been so low. I think I might need to focus on getting more sleep. Maybe the lack of it for so long is finally catching up with me. Lots going on too...I don't know. My cousins contacted me today with bad news...my great uncle passed away last night. I feel so bad that I didn't visit him in the nursing home more or take him the cookies I had promised to make for him. At least I have the memory of the last time I saw him -- it was a nice visit. He was making jokes and being silly. The last thing he said before I left was that he loved me and he gave me a big hug. It's a good memory to have.

Bye for now.

I did my extra workout last night(Christi Taylor Totally Cool Step), which went well. Followed that up with BootCamp this morning, which also went well. Now I'm TIRED...lol!! I will not be cheating on my diet today cause I'm NOT doing an extra workout tonight!!

I'm going to keep this short because I'm at work....I'll check-in tomorrow to catch-up on everyone.

Stacie
I am SO sorry to hear about your uncle. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss.
With regards to your lack of sleep, only you know if it's taking a toll on your mind and body. Take care of yourself first and foremost, because no one else is going to do it for you.

{{{hugs}}}

Today was the standing leg portion of GS Legs followed by30 minutes on the elliptical.

Toni---I don't see how you have the energy to do an AM and PM workout. KUDOS to you.

Natty---You are right! Meso 1 is what helped me get my push up level to where it is now. I still need a longer break than Cathe though.

Good morning everyone. No workout last night -- I was with my family offering my condolences. This morning I attempted LIC but that was a bust. I just couldn’t focus enough to get the moves down right. I stopped after 25 minutes and did AbRipperX from P90x. Tough core workout for sure. I was able to keep up ok with the cores moves that Cathe does but the other ones were super hard. I am going down to see me family today so my brother in law can work on my car. I am taking CCC, Slide N Glide, and JM's burn fat with me. Hopefully I can get another workout in tonight.

Natty
Thank you so much for you sweet words about my uncle. I am really close to the elders in my family and it was really sad to loose another one. I know they can't live forever but I want them to. Yesterday I looked in my son's eyes and they color reminded me so much of my uncle's that I realized even though he is gone a piece of him lives on through us.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi Cathletes!
Today I did BodyMax2 and did my 10 pushups before I started just to make sure I could still keep my count. Yesterday I needed to be at work early (again) so I didn't work out. I figured today I would do a good, long, tough workout... I think BodyMax2 fits the bill!

Stacie, very sorry to hear about your great uncle. Hang on to the good memory :) I hope you're getting rest and getting your energy back.
Sounds like a good plan - corresponding the rest week by pushing off STS, and re-doing your workouts. Cub Scout camp sounds like it will be nice and fun!
We bought a Furminator a couple years ago; they do work, the key is to actually use them regularly. We have a Zoom Groom (rubber massager) as well, and this week I have been using them both. It is helping :)

Natty, sounds like a lovely walk you had with Bella; she sounds so cute - enjoying the flowers and bugs :)
I did wide push ups (in BM2) today and thought of you; I can see how they will help strengthen the pectoralis.

Toni, certainly don't blame you for wanting to stick to your diet so you can avoid a double-whammy workout! I would think a weight workout is okay after a circuit workout once in a while; good luck :)

Happy Cindo de Mayo, everyone - Enjoy your day!

Hello ladies :)

Friday was D2 (back & tri's) as planned. I love working back, especially doing pull-ups/chin-ups, you can really feel the muscles working. My fav is the 1 arm dumbbell rows; my weight is 20lbs!! That might not be impressive, but for this small chick, I'm pretty satisfied :D. However, I have a very difficult time with tri's. It's so hard to keep proper form with a heavier weight. If I use a lighter weight, I don't feel challenged, especially with the lest few reps, where I know there should be some "stinging" as Cathe says. I have this feeling I have to go up in small increments, for instance 5 lbs is too light and 8lbs is too heavy. Regardless, I've been having some wicked DOMS these past 2 days :D.
Yesterday was BM2 w/weighted leg work (no UB) 60min. Last timed I did it, I bi-passed the leg work, and didn't find the circuit section very difficult. HA! I had to lower my step height to 6inch just to complete it. My legs were scrrreeeaaammming. Tough stuff!

Jennifer
We did BM2 on the same day :). Isn't that workout a beast?!. Kuddos to you for tackling the 90min! It really does not feel that long, and Cathe makes it super fun.
Great job on holding steady with the 10 push-ups. The wider than chest ones do get into the pec muscles more. I don't know about you, but I have this little spot of fat right on my pecs that are noticeable when I wear tank tops. I see many women have them, and I'm not that insecure about it, but I hope STS can at least shrink them in size .
Stacie
Take the time you need to mourn and support your family. My mother's cousin is dying with lung and bone Cancer right now. She only has a few days left. Although I was not very close to this woman, the best thing I can do is offer support and comfort. A death in the family is very traumatic. Once again, my condolences go out to you and your family.
Susan
Thinking of you during STS. I'm pretty certain you are really gonna love it. I've only done 3 discs, and I'm extremely impressed. Well worth the time, money and some. Cathe is just superb. If I did not highly respect her before (which I did), my respect just went up ten fold. She is a total class act.
I hope your shoulder is recovering well. Talk to you soon :).
Kara & Dana
I know you both are very busy, just wanted to say hello. Hope you and your families (and doggies!) are doing well :).

Have a great Sunday everyone :)

Evening....Hope everyone's week is starting off good. I'm changing up my rotation a bit(I've never been good at sticking to a rotation anyway...I call it workout ADHD). Today was AfterBurn. I went very light on the weights so that it was mostly a cardio workout. AfterBurn usually fries my outter thighs and glutes, so I really consider it a good lower body w/o for me. The rest of the week should look like this:

Mon PUB
Tues Cardio Supersets
Weds High Step Training + Some ab work
Thurs Some steady state cardio
Fri Muscle Endurance

I will probably repeat this for two weeks and then switch up.

Natty
Good work with STS. Looks like you are doing well so far. I have the same problem with my tris. I can't hold the form with the higher weight, but the lower weight is too light. I've been opting to do the higher weight for a couple of reps(or as long as I can hold some amount of form) and then switch the lighter to finish the set.

Stacie
So sorry for your lose. Big hugs to you and your family.

HeartyMax
I do not have the energy for those AM and PM workouts, which is why I need to stop cheating on my diet!! :)
