PROGESS NOT PERFECTION...Knockin' November OUT!

Now Hubby isn't feeling well. I hope this isn't one of those things we pass back and forth; but I'm feeling better. Although I gave myself a huge papercut trying to get a bottle of Pamprin open, if that give you any idea of how my day has gone.

We tried a new BBQ place but it was only okay, and are thinking about Italian for dinner. I got Hubby to take my measuements for a new sweater and i wasn't thrilled with the numbers. Added incentive to lose some weight.

Trying to get some things done around the house this weekend, but nothing eexciting planned.

Sorry to hear about the football woes.

I'm planning KCM for my Total body on Tues.
 
Peng, hope your hubby dont keep sharing this illness and to cut yourself on a bottle of Pamprin to boot. Things can only get better, right?!

No workout for me, just never got around to it. Today was a day I really needed to get some stuff done around here since we'll be out of town for the holidays and I wasnt looking forward to shopping after Thanksgiving nor cleaning my house and doing laundry after I returned home!

No workout for me tomorrow either...working 10 hrs then I've got a work-related thing I have to do after work. So I'll be leaving the house at 7am and likely getting back at 8pm, ugh.

I really dont think I should weigh in tomorrow b/c I ate too many carbs the past few days, though I was at my lowest weight since Oct 8th last week. I'm torn btwn not wanting to get discouraged if it's up 2 lbs and seeing that it's up and trying to refocus, a daunting task with the holidays this week especially since I"ll be spending them with my junk-food-eating family!

I'll just have to ponder these things over the Ravens-Steelers game!

P.S. Andrea, our fire place is going and it's toasty warm, no drafts escaping or coming in....might wanna share that with Mr. BK ;)
 
I'm bummed. Weighed in, gained 2.5 lbs. My whining moment...it took me 6 weeks to lose 6 lbs and in one weekened I've gained close to half of it back :( I know my diet wasnt stellar, and I only worked out one day, but C'mon Man!!

Ok moment is over. Back to the reality of hard work and veggies. Dont you wish that magic pill really existed some days??? I'll weigh in again Wednesday morning, hoping some of that gain is water weight.

Off for a LONG day at work etc....
 
Stacy, Stacy, Stacy...now to have actually gained 2.5 pounds back you would have had to have eaten 8750 excess calories, I DOUBT you did that in one weekend. Sodium, carbs, water, it's all just stuff that needs to flush out, and it will :) Back to veggies and hard work and you'll be down 3 before you know it!

Peng- hope you and the hubby are feeling better! I hurt my hand last night too, was sitting on the couch and my hubby got up and had the remote in his hand, tossed it over to the couch and for some reason I was stretching my hand backwards (like a top of the forearm stretch) and the remote hit it right on the bone, oh my gosh it hurt SO BAD! I immediately started wailing like a baby! It bruised a little but still hurts something awful when I touch it. Even hurts when he kisses it to make it better! :(

I weighed in today, 135.0, so I've officially got 13 pounds to go. GSCT on tap for today, as well as dog walking, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, maybe a trip to the grocery store (yikes) or even Costco. Also have a bunch of handmade jewelry I need to get pictures of and make listings for Etsy to see if I can drum up some Christmas $$$.
 
ok, GSCT done and i added on ab hits #1 because my belly looked like it needed some work when i was working my triceps! Going to do one of the ab hits workouts everyday that i do a workout that doesn't have abs. I just decided that :)

Stacy, its always frustrating when the scale jumps around regardless of the cause!

Andrea, good job on GS.

Hubby and I did some shopping and worked in the backyard a bit. He's going out of town again this week, we found out a few hours ago that he leaves tomorrow morning. He's supposed to be back by Tday but we all know how THAT goes.
 
Busy day yesterday....

Thanks for the pep talk you two. I know most is water weight (hopefully!) but gotta keep pushing forward!

I just finished the Bootcamp Premix from BodyMax2....78 minutes...holy moly. I figured she was done after she finished the 4th blast/power circuit segment seeing as how the main workout only has 4...but NOOOOOO she HAAADDD to throw in a 5th segment. I was swearing at her!! But, I finished, hit the pause button many times, but now I'm done :)

Tomorrow we're heading out of town to Fatsville right after I get home from work and wont be back til late Friday night. So in case I forget to say it later, Happy Turkey Day and safe travels! (And try not to eat too much???)
 
Hubby left this morning. I"m doing laundry and trying to give the kitchen a good scrubbing. Later I'm baking a crustless pumpkin pie; I just use the regular recipe and skip the crust part.

I did 40min from KCM's Plateau Buster.

I got the kitchen done but could do some other things like dust the top shelves and clean the glass. For a change of pace, and I didn't want to get the pie dusty, lol, I started on the dining room, dusting the hutch mostly. I gave the room a through cleaning last month so I just need to touch up and clean off the table.
 
hi girls...looks like today is going to be an hour long dog walk and that's it...feeling a little run down, had to take a two hour nap, going to just call it a day with that.

we aren't doing anything for Thanksgiving, will be just the two of us and the dogs, I think I'm going to make some jambalaya :) should i pick up a cheesecake? or make some of those sinful chocolate chip cookies? :p
 
We have this week off Bible study but my parents are taking me to lunch today and a bit of shopping afterwards. Then home for more cleaning {mostly dusting, not my favorite} and I need to check the Bird and brave the attic for the roasting pan.

andrea, I vote for cookies but then again I don't like cheesecake. :p
 
Alternated cleaning with reading a book that has to be back to the library this week! Lunch with parents was nice. I did Jessica's Cardio Abs. And Hubby is on his way home from the airport! yay!

But that bird is still thawing! It may get a bath tonight!:p

Bird is in the oven and scheduled to come out in an hour! I think, so far, this has been the less stressful Tday yet. I also did Cathe's Athletic Training: I really enjoy this one and should do it more often. High rep/low weight with a lot of fun mixed in. I'm off to shower, hopefully Hubby will be home from work soon!
 
Hubby has to go out of town all next week, but he's taken Sat off so we can have some time together.

I did Tracey's Walking Stronger. My parents lent me their laptop to see if I would like as my Christmas present a small DVD player to put on the TM. Entertainment seems to help; I wasn't clock watching the whole time and did 50min.
 
good idea with the small dvd player! hope you had a nice holiday. i just got home from a little shopping, we have a Nordstrom Rack store here, like an outlet, and i got some great deals on really good quality shoes and also a sweater for my sister whose name I drew for the second year in a row...she's a veterinary ophthalmologist and has everything she could possibly want or need, and of course i get to buy for her two years in a row!

getting ready to take dogs for a walk, clean up a little, do back shoulders and biceps, and watch ksu play Michigan in basketball in a couple of hours :)
 
ooooh I'm so tired! but tonight is my last Saturday night that i have to think about waking up at 230 am for a stinkin 12 hour shift! that's awfully exciting for me :)

eating has been a hot mess and i tried to start my gs workout yesterday but just couldn't do it, no worries though. i just put it on the menu for Monday! i figured i needed a little r&r as that was the final day of my fourth week of gym styles. got my workouts planned through new years eve, although i may have to make some adjustments since i ordered core max and 4 day split when they were the deals of the day!

ok...gonna down some hot tea, a sliver of cheesecake, and head to bed :)
